Furies and Fates
On the nights when the moon exposes his face,
he glares upon us and summons furies and fates!
Six mythical creatures with duties assigned,
three to punish wrong-doers, three to define destiny, for all mankind! Now look over your shoulder and look hard in the shade,
if it’s Tisiphone, Alecto or Megara be forewarned, be afraid!
They seek out wrong-doers and there's no escape,
don't bother confessing dark secrets, sorry to say, it’s way too late!If you see Clotho, Atropos or Lachesis, there’s no need to run,
they find lost wandering souls and define purpose for them.
But then of course, Atropos performs one job on the side,
for poor souls out of time, I'm sorry to say, she cuts their life line!
