Behind These Tinted Shades
Behind these tinted shades is where some try to hide,
their life’s true individuality concealed deep down inside.
A sinner or a saint, a lover or a hater, you'd never truly know,
until these tinted shades fall down and reveal their inner soul.
When dealing with life choices and the actions they incite,
a soul will sway endlessly amid pure darkness and pure light.
Whether helpful acts of kindness or spiteful acts of harm,
our actions serve to mould and define the person we become.
By now you must be asking, why my soul I wish to hide?
This isn't my intention, there's a second function shades provide.
By staring in my shades reflection, your soul will be revealed.
It may prove quite alarming, and be not who you thought consealed.

A third purpose: Tinted Shades are also used to protect our eye's from harmful UV Ray's.
(Tinted Shades might be a metaphor for a "Defensive Barrier". Letting down your barrier reveals who you really are)
