An Evil Soul

When light is drained, from one's pure soul
the darkness comes, and fills the hole
And all once good, slowly grows cold
all that remains, is pure evil

How's one know where, evil resides
Perhaps it starts, with small white lies
And soon it grows, inflicting pain
on those they love; soon friendships stain

Now all seems lost, for one who's glazed
Do not give up, they can be saved
How does one save, a tainted soul
before consumed, with pure evil

With friendship and laughter, pure love will soon follow
To replenish one's soul, with light from tomorrow

(An Alternate Evil Ending Couplet just for laughs)

Now come a bit closer, and I will  tell you so
I say with a whisper, my evil side said no
