Xavier was laying on the bed, I can tell he's tired from training with Jordan (blank boy) all day. I sit on his lap as he is laying down, his cuts already healing itself. I never noticed the black necklace on his neck.

"Where did you get this?" I said as I start to touch it, his eyes are closed.

"It was my mom, she gave it to me the day she died. Its a crescent moon. I never take it off, unless I shower. God training was fun today, he's improving." His eyes still closed.

"I want to train too." I say, he smirks.

"Okay, I don't see the problem with it. I'll have Jordan train you."

"Yay!" I say, Xavier not once opening his eyes. I roll off of him and collapse next to him on the bed. Cuddled up on his side.

"I live for moments like this," He said as his arms engulfed me "the moments you allow yourself to love me and be loved."

We were both too tired to continue the conversation, so we allowed sleep to engulf us

"Ace, you have to kick higher." Jordan states, we've been at this for hours.

"I'm trying."

Xavier has Jordan train me one on one- despite not being able to shift, he is far from being the Omega. He is looked down upon, which sucks, but he is strong enough to kill someone- and once he shifts Xavier already told me he's going to make him the Delta.

The Delta is fourth in line- Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta.

Jordan has me kicking his hand, over and over correcting my stance, posture, way of kicking, and the height.

"Again." Is the only word I hear for hours.

***

My body aching, especially my legs.

My body collapses on the floor of the training room, as Eunni walks in.

"If it was anyone else in here with my mate, alone, they would be dead." She chuckles a laugh- but I know she's serious.

Eunni and Jordan made the greatest couple, and she was marked, she wore his initials proud, as he wore hers.

The guy gets the initials on his collarbone after they um...mate.

They have waited their whole lives to find each other, and I've never scene Eunni happier.

Shelly walked into the room, with this guy. They were holding hands.

"There you guys are! I want you to meet Jon- my mate."

We sat on the floor of the training room for hours.

"I'm going to find Xavier, see you guys later." I said as I got up, sore, but bearable.

I walk to Xavier's office, and a sense of Deja Vu hit me.

I walk into the office to see Mc Slutty Slut Slut, sitting on his desk, and Xavier sitting in the chair paying her no mind.

Yet, she still tries. Whining here and there, twirling her hair.

"We need to burn that desk." I speak up, Xavier lifts his head and turns back to look at me.
"Why do you always ruin the moment?" Mc Slut spoke up
"You busy babe?" I asked ignoring her question.
"Just reviewing some stuff, it can wait." He said as he turned around.
"Yes you can wait." Mc Slut spoke.
"I'm going to rip your tongue out if you ever speak to her again with such disrespect."
She looked scared to say the least, she scurried away like a child.
"Let's get Chinese food tonight!" He says with a smile.

***

"wait wait wait what?" I say through laughter as I sit crisscross on the floor in his office.
"We had to be 8 or 9, and we found this giant rock-" he laughs "so we picked it up, and tried to carry it home, all five of us. And I decided to roll the rock up the hill. Patrick saw a butterfly, ran towards it and Jules joined him. So two of us were too weak, and it came rolling back. And that is the story on how I pushed Jake out of the way and got chased by a rock, and then tripped rolling down the hill." Xavier laughed at the memory.

I laughed a lot harder than I should of.

We sat there crisscross on the floor laughing at memories and stories.

"I live for moments like this, the ones where I love and allowing myself to be loved." I stated.

Xavier looked at me- a crashed his lips to mine.

And I couldn't help but smile at the touch.

*3 months later*

"Again!" Jordan yelled, as I dodged blow after blow that Iyonnah threw.
I wasn't as strong as she was- but she never slowed down or softened the blows. Xavier use to be mad but I begged him to let me continue this, and he did with one condition: I trained with him also. And that is how sore days and sore nights came to be, running at 4:30 am, and again at 9:30 pm. Gym and exercising, night and day. But I realized something:

I'm very analytical. Every time she threw a punch with her left hand her right leg took a slight step forward- and vice versa.

I wasn't as strong or as fast as werewolves, but I was more levelheaded. As she got angry I kept dodging she sped up, left-right-left-knee. I dodged, I kicked my leg up, and hit her knee cap, as hard as I could- breaking her leg, shooting her back.

She isn't suppose to break my bones, but I can her- because she can heal.

"Stop." Jordan yelled. And we did.

A few hours later, Iyonnah was all healed. Congratulating me  on doing some damage, and dodging.

"You've gotten faster Ace." She laughed.

Iyonnah was the top female warrior, and the fact that I can break her leg- a human- means something. It means I've gotten better.

It means- for a start- I am no longer a liability.

Grey eyes walks in, although it's been months we have never mated, we've gotten closer, calmer, started dating, I stopped cutting and harming, my nightmares completely stopped, and I was happy. Shelly, Jon, Eunni, and Catie walk in, after being proud of me we sit and laugh.

And I truly live for moments like this with my family.
