The southwest side of the Glade was up next. There stood a large barn - though it was unlike the other one Clara had seen. This was more typical, red and white, open doors - though quite a lot of horses. Too many to count, actually. "This old place is usually taken for granted," Vastra began. "But, as you have probably observed by now, it hold many horses. While there are only eight stallions, which are held in the Rider headquarters, there are many more mares, as you can see here. We had instantly decided to use the much more powerful and faster Stallions for searching the Maze for an exit, and we use the mares on a daily basis for less unique activities. Getting around, farming - practically the only thing we don't use them for is food, which is instead what cows, pigs, and chickens do for us. Many of the Gladers find piece in jobs here - maybe you will too?"
"As long as their is something more interesting, then hell no."
Vastra sighed. "I tried, at least. In to our next destination."
