The next morning, I woke up to hella good smell.
I got up, and waddled my way into the kitchen to see Jackson standing by the stove.
"Morning." I said.
Jackson turned startled. "Oh. Goodmorning."
Okay, whatever he is cooking smells really good.
"You like Kimchi fried rice?" Jackson asked.
Rice? For breakfast?
"Nope. We are having rice for breakfast?" I asked.
"You will soon learn." Jackson said.
I heard foot steps coming down the hall, only to reveal my parents.
"Mmmm Kimchi fried rice." My parents said in unison.
Okay really? They have had Kimchi fried rice and I had no clue what it even was?
"You guys have had it, but not Lexi?" Jackson asked.
"We travel a lot." My dad replied.
Makes sense now. Kind of forgot about their buisness trips. They havent been on one in awhile.
"Speaking of which, even on vacation, we have a meeting." My mom said.
Really? A buisness meeting now? I spoke too soon.
"Then take some to go." Jackson said. Jackson handed them dishes and they thanked him.
_____
"So what do you wanna do?" Jackson asked.
I was sitting on the couch watching some K-dramas, not understanding a single word.
"Anything." I replied, letting out a sigh.
"Then let me take you to Lotte world." Jackson said.
"Lotte world?"
"Its a huge tourist attraction in Seoul." Jackson explained.
Seoul? Again?
"Seoul is far though." I complained.
"Then looks like we should get moving." Jackson shrugged.
*sigh*
_____We were 30 minutes away from Seoul, and Jackson and I havent said a word.
"I invited Kai to come along." Jackson said, breaking the silence.
"But he wont understand me." I said.
Jackson shrugged.
"His english is conversational. He can speak it, and he understands what you are saying if you keep it simple." Jackson said.
_____
We got to the gates of Lotte world, and geez louise this place is huge.
This place is amazing though.
"Kai said he is almost here so." Jackson said.
I just nodded and waited for the handsome Kai to arrive.
"Sorry for late." Kai suddenly said.
His broken English is so adorable.
Jackson then said something to him in Korean, and I am just standing there like the dumb foreigner I am.
Jackson then motioned for me to follow him and Kai. I just trailed behind in awe at this place.
There were tons of girls giving me dirty looks and saying things in Korean. Even though I had no clue what they are saying I know its not good.
"They are jealous of you. They think you are quite pretty, as they think me and Kai are hot." Jackson turned around and said to me. I looked at Kai who just shot me a small smile.
"They arent wrong." I said.
"You got that right." Jackson said, looking me up and down.
Oh god.
Kai's eyes were big, and were just looking at the ground.
"Awkward." Kai said softly.
He's right on that one.
....
For the next few hours, we rode roller coasters, bumper cars and checked out the haunted house. The haunted house scared the shit out me, earning me some ice cream, compliments of Kai.
It was awkward around Jackson though. He was always right there, close by. But, I got to know Kai to an extent. He was able to speak English well enough for me to understand him. Kai was friends with Chanyeol before he met Sehun. Chanyeol was already in California when Sehun and Kai became friends. Kai is the same age as Sehun, and Jackson is 2 years older.
We dropped Kai off at his house, and he hugged me goodbye.
I felt all warm and fuzzy inside.
The ride back to Busan was pretty short. Jackson cracked a lot of jokes. He is actually really funny.
I feel comfortable around him now.
Once we got off the Metro, it was 11:30 p.m.
"You want to go get a drink? You look older than 18 anyways." Jackson added.
I shrugged, and Jackson and I headed towards a bar.
_____
"Hahaaaa whuuut?" I asked, hitting Jackson playfully on the arm. Jackson was laughing at a joke he made, but I dont remember what he said.
I might have had a few drinks.
I just dont learn.
"Gosh golly." Jackson said. "We should head back. *hiccup*" Jackson said.
We were stumbling over each other while walking on the sidewalk.
We couldnt stop laughing. Until I lost my sense of humor.
"Lexi? Jackson?"
I turned my attention to Sehun and Jiyoon. They were holding hands.
"What?" I asked rudely.
"You shouldnt be out this late, its dangerous." Sehun said, breaking Jiyoon's grip and walking over to me. He put his hand on my shoulder and I shrugged it off. I saw Jiyoon's ugly expression.
"I can take care of myself.*hiccup*"
"Lexi you are drunk. You arent yourself." Sehun said sternly.
"Im not." I said.
"Your lying." Sehun said.
"Maybe we should take a rain check, and figure out who the real liar is." I said.
I turned and grabbed Jackson's hand, and we went back to his house.
Sehun was left there dumbfounded with a pissed off Jiyoon.
_____
"He must really*hiccup* care if he just pushed Jiyoon and I aside like that." Jackson said, leaning his head on my shoulder. Jackson and I were sitting on the floor in front of the couch, just staring at the wall.
Thats how drunk we are.
"You know you are really pretty. Sehun is an idiot for letting you go." Jackson said softly. I could tell he was about to fall asleep.
I didnt reply, I just sat there, looking at the wall.
"Its a shame that we only have a few more days together. *yawn*...That just makes Sehun lucky. That he got to love you for as long as he did." Jackson said. I felt him breathe softly, knowing he was asleep now.
And before I fell asleep, I just sat there.
"That just makes Sehun lucky. He got to love you as long as he did."
