If she wasn't already in emergency situation mode, Sophie would have fainted right there and then. However, she was just about ready for the Queen of England to pull up at the curb and ask if she needed a ride to the nearest hospital. Blinking rapidly, she nodded. 'First though, could one of you call an ambulance, and the police? I sort of don't have my phone.' Simon gave her a quizzical look, but took his phone out anyway and did as she asked. While he was talking to the operator, she went on to explain everything that had happened up to that point, as briefly as she could. The other two seemed to react just as she did when she got to the point where the mugger came back and stole her phone, which made her smile. They looked as angry as she felt. Once she had finished, she looked over to Simon who was nodding into his phone. He glanced in her direction and frowned, before walking up and handing her the phone. 'I think you can explain what happened here a bit better than I can.' She took it and held it to her ear. 'Hello?' Her voice cracked and she cleared her throat. All that goddamn shouting.. She tried again, 'Hello? Yeah. Hi. How long is the ambulance going to take? I think this guy's going to go unconscious soon; he's losing quite a lot of blood. I've tried bandaging it with my scarf, but I'm pretty sure he's bled through that.' As she spoke, she noticed the guys were arguing about something quietly; probably about where to go for food. Well, it's an important decision to make.. she reasoned to herself on their behalf. The woman on the phone told her that the ambulance would be there in roughly 10 minutes, and that if he wasn't already, get the man to lie down as it would help slow down the bleeding. Sophie looked over at Alan and saw that his eyes were closed, his arms lying slack across his stomach. She felt the blood drain from her face. 'He's just passed out. Is there any chance that ambulance could step on it?' She asked. 'I'll see what I can do. Stay on the phone, and apply pressure to the wound.' The woman replied curtly. Sophie nodded to herself and called over to the guys. 'Hey, can one of you help me a second? I need to get him laid down in case he stops breathing before the ambulance gets here.' One of the other two guys that Simon was with walked over to her and started moving Alan so that he was lying on his back. Sophie's heart almost stopped when she saw who it was. Oh shit, oh shit, oohhh shiting hell Sophie breathe goddamn. She drew in a sharp breath as Vik moved Alan so that he was lying on his back. He looked up at her to check that he'd done it right, and she smiled briefly, unable to speak. She moved to check his vitals again, calling over to Simon as she did so, holding his phone in the air, 'Simon, can you stay on the phone for me please?'
Then everyone went silent. Sophie looked up to see the three of them staring at her, surprise spread across their faces. A few seconds of confusion later, she realised why. She wasn't supposed to know their names. They exchanged confused looks and Simon spoke up, 'How did you know my name?' She blinked. Damn girl, you done fucked up this time.. She fumbled for an excuse before realising nothing she could ever come up with would make the situation any better. So, she decided to tell the truth. 'I've kinda been a fan of you guys since, well, since you all started YouTube.' She watched as their expressions changed from confusion to almost annoyance, and her heart sped up in fear. 'It's not like that, seriously.' she added hastily, 'I'm not one of those stalker types that tries to find your house or whatever, this is genuinely a really weird and slightly disturbing coincidence. I'm here visiting my brother for the holidays. I've never been to his house here before, but he just moved in with his friends in the summer, and he's a little broke, so I said I'd just come stay here instead. I only live in Bath, so it's not that far, but I forgot how annoyingly complicated it is getting around London if you're not used to it, and he said he couldn't come get me from the train station, so I would have to somehow get to his house by myself knowing only the address. I spent £70 on a goddamn oyster card for the next three weeks, which I probably won't even end up using, that was probably a rip-off. I knew that woman was pulling my damn leg. I don't even know how I'm going to get to his house now, I don't remember the address, it was on my phone, and I can't call him to tell him where I am, and oh god he probably thinks I've been dragged into an alley and stabbed. No offense, Alan.' She cut herself off, glancing down at the man she was trying to keep alive. 'He can't even hear me. He's dying and I can't do anything to stop it; god I'm so useless I'm sorry.' She stared at her hands, pressing on Alan's stomach. She needed to crack her knuckles so badly, but she couldn't take them off the wound. She didn't dare look up either. Tears had gathered in the corners of her eyes, and she blinked, watching them drop onto her hands. None of the guys had said anything since her mental breakdown, and she didn't want to hear the inevitable words that would come out of their mouths. She didn't want to hear their voices mock her; this night was already going to be etched into the forefront of her mind for years to come.
