Sophie's POV

Walking, down the hallway, she found the living room where 6 boys waited for a mystery guest; her. The door was only slightly ajar, and she leant towards it to push it open. 'Seriously though, don't ask too much about the night we met. She's probably still coming to terms with it, plus it's a little weird and you'll make her uncomfortable.' Simon's voice floated through the gap and she paused, unsure whether or not to stop and listen, or walk in as she'd planned, confident and happy. 'Are you sure she's not some crazed fan that's spent a year trying to devise this plan to meet us?' A familiar voice replied to Simon. Harry? Sophie was surprised to hear his voice. She'd been under the impression he was in Guernsey. Obviously not. 'Of course not, I mean she is a fan, but she's cool, I promise.' Simon reassured him. Sophie decided she'd heard enough and pushed the door open, strolling into the room like she was walking on air. 'Sup.' She said simply. The whole room went silent as they turned to look at her. She felt her confidence falter slightly, but then Simon got up and moved to stand by her side. 'Guys, this is Sophie. Sophie, this is, well, you know who they all are.' He chuckled. Sophie watched their reactions carefully. Technically they had met her already, but she wasn't sure she could call yelling at two of them and slapping one of them a proper introduction.

One by one, they got up to greet her properly. Josh she was already acquainted with, but he came over anyway, 'Just to be the first to get up' he explained, giving her a quick hug before sitting back down. Then came Tobi, who seemed just as gentlemanly as his videos portrayed him to be. 'Nice to meet you.' He said kindly, also wrapping her in a hug. Surprised, she patted his back awkwardly until he let go. 'Not a touchy feely person?' He asked, laughing. She shook her head slightly.

'Not really. It's okay though, I have a feeling I'll have to get used to it..' He chuckled and moved to the side to make way for Ethan. He held out his hand for her to shake, and she stared at it for a second. 'Sorry, am I in the wrong place? I thought I was in a living room, not a business meeting.' She teased, smiling mischievously at him. He blinked at her, not quite sure how to respond. 'Did I just get sassed?' He asked no-one in particular. She laughed as he threw his arms up in mock disgust. 'I was joking. Of course, it's a pleasure to finally meet you, Mr. Payne.' She said as formally as she could. Ethan bowed in response, giggling. 'And you, your majesty.' He spoke, attempting to match her eloquence, but sounding more like he had something stuck in his throat. 'You hear that, I'm royalty. Bow down, peasants.' Simon groaned.

'Now look what you've done, her ego was big enough as it is.' He complained, sighing dramatically. 'It's still nothing compared to yours Simon, so shut your cake hole.' She returned, turning her head away from him like he was beneath her. 'OHHHHHH!' They all screamed at him, making her feel like she really could be friends with them all.

Harry was next to approach her, and she eyed him warily. He too stuck out his hand, and instead of shaking it, she slapped it, initiating her own kind of handshake. He quickly caught on, and they took turns in inventing the most awkward ways to greet each other. Eventually, after many fits of laughter, they had a sequence memorised, and he returned to his place on the sofa. Finally, JJ walked slowly up to her, shoulders hunched with his head hung low, as if he couldn't meet her eyes. She cocked her head at him, frowning slightly at his odd behaviour. She had already forgiven him for his stupidity, knowing it was only in his nature to be dramatic. So ,she decided to match his posture, mirroring his every move until she was stood directly in front of him. He must have only noticed then, because he looked up at her in surprise as if he expected her to be farther away. 'You alright there JJ?' She asked him slowly, like she was talking to a small child. In all other aspects except his physical being, he may as well be one. She poked his shoulder and he made a high pitched noise. 'What was that?' She laughed, poking him again.
