After about ten minutes of weaving through the busy streets, they turned into a parking lot. Josh seemed to find it hilarious the fact that Vik was the reason they had decided to go out, yet he was the one not going with them. The guilt kicked in after that, and Sophie tried to persuade them that she could just get a taxi instead of ruining their night out. However, the more she thought about it, the more she realised she wouldn't mind spending half an hour or so in a car with Vik. 'Hey, I volunteered to go, so that's not even an argument.' Vik countered. She looked at him, surprised. 'If it's really alright with you, then okay, I just don't want to be in the way or anything.' This time he looked surprised, before softening his expression, 'When would you ever be in the way? You seem pretty awesome to me.' She looked away, feeling blood rush to her cheeks. 'Clearly you don't know me.' She replied, smirking slightly. 'Guess that will have to change then.' She looked back at him, and he winked at her. She stared at him incredulously, Simon and Josh doubled over laughing behind them. 'This should be interesting..' she chuckled, walking past them with her head in her hands. 'Hey Sophie!' Vik called after her. She turned so she was walking backwards, her eyes sparkling in the dim light, 'Hey guys, it's me, Sophstar123!' She winked back at him, a small smile playing at the corner of her mouth. 'The car's this way.' He said, deadpan. Josh and Simon were now on the floor, clearly unable to contain themselves. She stopped walking for a second, before turning back around, and continuing in the wrong direction. 'Maybe I wanna take the scenic route.' Suddenly, hands grabbed her arms and started pulling her backwards. She screamed as she was yanked her towards Josh and Simon, who were still on the floor, probably hysterical at the unorthodox situation unfolding before them. She broke her assailants grip and dropped to the floor, her vision becoming blurred. Flashes of street lights and the feel of a damp concrete floor filled her mind, and she shook her head in attempt to get rid of the nightmare she was reliving. A scream was ringing in her ears, drowning out voices that seemed so close to her, yet she couldn't see where they were coming from. She could only see the stars. How bright the moon was shining tonight.

A soft rustling reached Sophie's ears and she shot upright, her eyes scanning for danger. She pushed herself up against the wall behind her, and tucked her arms around her legs, pressing her head into her knees. Her eyes were wide open, and she could just make out the material she was sitting on. It was a sheet, white and soft. She lifted her head slightly, frowning, and looked around. She was sat on a bed, or rather, in a bed, in what looked like a teenage boy's room. There were posters covering the walls from various games as well as a couple of unsavoury pictures of women in their underwear. The curtains were also drawn, making the room seem gloomier. Then she saw the multiple screens in the corner of the room arranged on a desk, and just as many consoles sat on the floor underneath them. She frowned deeper in confusion. Where the hell..? Her eyes fell onto the figure sat on the end of the bed. She jumped, before throwing herself over them, tears bubbling in her eyes. Her brother wrapped his arms around her, and held her as she sobbed into his shirt, soaking it. 'Hey now, heard you got yourself into quite a state yesterday?' He asked after a few minutes. She pulled her face off his chest and looked at him. His eyes were bloodshot, as if he hadn't slept. She took a deep breath and told him everything she remembered, from the moment she stepped off the train in Kings Cross, to waking up ten minutes ago. Once she was done, he hugged her again, squeezing her tightly. This was the side of Tom only she saw. Growing up, despite being a year younger than her, he was always the one to defend her, especially against her mother. He was almost the father figure she never had. Wait, that's weird. She said to herself, putting the thought out of her mind. 'So you don't remember anything after the parking lot?' He tested quietly. Sophie thought back and realised she didn't. Her memory had gone blank from then till now, and her heart began to race as she thought about the last thing she remembered. Something in her brother's face, however, told her that he knew something she didn't. 'How did I get here?' She probed. 'What happened? Tell me.' She needed to know now. She sat back, waiting for his reply. He took a deep breath and said, 'You're gonna need some tea first.'
