Sophie's POV

Sophie made her way downstairs, letting her feet drag along the carpet. She was glad to have told Simon about her feelings for Vik; she knew she could trust him to keep her secret, however she could feel her control slipping now that she had revealed a little more of herself. She would have to be careful. If she gave away too much information, she wouldn't have anything left of herself.

Reaching the hallway, she turned and headed into the green room, where her suitcase and laptop sat waiting for her. Walking over slowly, she checked over the condition of her things. Satisfied that nothing had been damaged, she gathered the two items together and headed back up the stairs with them. As she got to the first landing, she risked a glance towards Vik's room. She could hear him talking to the Pack over Skype, probably recording another Minecraft video, she thought. Shaking her head slightly, she carried on up to her temporary room.

Nearing her room, she could hear the tell-tale sound of the shower running. Frowning, she popped her head into Simon's room to find it empty, meaning he must be the one in the shower. Odd, why's he having a shower at this time? She wondered. Suddenly, the water cut off and she whipped around, hurrying into her room, shutting the door quietly behind her. Just as she did so, she heard Simon open the bathroom door and walk back into his own room, seemingly in a rush. She struggled between leaving the door to go to bed and going to ask him where he was going. Then, as if fate had decided for her, the sound of Simon's door opening interrupted her mid-thought. Pushing her door open a crack, she watched him hurry down the stairs, dressed in one of his nicest shirts and a decent pair of jeans. Raising an eyebrow, she shut out the sight again and turned back to her room.

So, he's going out? That's not like him... Explanations for Simon's odd behaviour flew around her head, making her feel slightly dizzy. Shaking them away, she realised how prying she was being and decided to leave it alone. He can do what he wants...He's surely old enough not to have to ask permission to leave the house... She sulked at the idea, knowing her brother thought the exact opposite of her. I need to stop being so nosey and just leave people be... She decided, busying herself with getting ready for bed.

She went out to the bathroom and washed her face, revelling in the feel of the warm water on her face, the daily routine action triggering her brain to make her feel tired. As she walked back into her room, she could feel her eyelids drooping and she almost didn't make it to her bed before she passed out.

An insistent knock at the door startled her awake. She rubbed her eyes and unlocked her phone to check the time. Only, it didn't unlock. Frowning, she tapped it on the bedside table as if she could startle it awake as well. Then it dawned on her. I forgot to put it on charge last night...Shit. She groaned and threw it back on the table, letting her head fall back onto her pillow, the pull of sleep luring her back into unconsciousness. 'Sophie?' A loud voice called through the door, dragging her back to reality. 'What? I'm asleep.' She mumbled grouchily. The door started to open and she sighed heavily. 'What part of "I'm asleep" don't you get?' She grumbled, turning away from the intruder, hoping they would leave if she stopped responding.

Unfortunately for her, it didn't work since a few seconds later, she was drenched in freezing cold water. 'AAHHHHH!! YOU FUCKER!!' She screamed, springing out of bed and flicking her wet hair out of her face as she blindly chased her attacker out the door. Looking up, she noticed it was JJ who was running for his life down the stairs. 'JJ!! I WILL FUCKING MURDER YOU! FUCK YOUR 13 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS; GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE!!' She yelled after him, hearing only his childish, screaming laughter in reply. Rage filled her as she closed in on him just before the bottom of the stairs. He was still just out of reach, but he was veering left, so she swung herself over the bannister and tackled him to the ground.
