My breath caught in my throat.
"What?" I choked out.
"Yes dear, I am your brother." He said, a smirk resting on his lips.
"But.. I-you-what?"
My head was spinning and I couldn't grasp the fact.

All of a sudden, I heard a scream from downstairs, followed by a groan.
Luke.

I darted around Cade- or... Jacob?- before he could stop me and ran down be stairs.
I looked around, desperately, before I finally found where the screams were coming from.

Luke's arms were chained to the ceiling as a bulky man stood behind him with a whip.
He drew back, about to whip him once more, when I screamed, "Stop! What is this the 18th century?"
The man's eyes snapped up to me, a grin appearing on his face.
He slowly began to walk towards me, his grin turning into a menacing smirk.
"If you lay a finger on her, I swear-" Luke growled, but was cut off by a low chuckle, coming from behind me.

"Luther, I told you. No touching my sister. Father wants her in one piece."
My head snapped towards Jacob as I gasped.
"W-who?" I stuttered.
"Our father, dear. You didn't really believe he was dead, did you?" Jacob smirked.
"Honestly, I didn't know what happened to him."
Another smack sounded through the room and Luke let out an ear piercing scream.
I turned to him with a horrified expression on my face.
"Please, make him stop." I sobbed, falling to my knees in front of Jacob.
Every time Luke would scream, I begged harder.
"Please! Please stop!" I screamed and finally, Jacob sighed, "Alright, Luther. That's enough. You are dismissed."
Luther nodded and left the room.
As soon as he left, I ran over to Luke.
I grabbed his face in my hands and kissed all over his face.
"Are you alright?" I asked, a tear falling down my cheek.
"Don't-" he began, but erupted into a fit of coughs before he could finish, "cry."

"Where's the key?" I demanded, turning to glare at Jacob.
"Your a feisty one aren't ya? You get that from father."
"I didn't get anything from him. Give me the key." I spat.
He chuckled, pulling a key from his pocket and handing it over.
I quickly took it from him, unlocking Luke's arms, making him fall limply against me.
"Luke, please look at me. Are you okay? I can't lose you." I sobbed, holding him in my arms.
"I'm fine, baby." He said, looking into my eyes, but I could see the pain in them.
"Aw, how adorable." Jacob laughed, darkly.
"But you know sister, as your brother, I am to keep you away from all the boys that I think aren't good enough for you." he said, "Don't you think Luke falls under that category?"
I threw daggers at him with my eyes.
"No." I spat, "And your barely my brother."
His eyes hardened and he clenched his jaw.
He stomped over and roughly grabbed my arm, pulling me away from Luke.
"Don't fucking touch her." Luke growled, struggling to stand up.
Jacob just ignored him and spun me around to face him.
He glared at me as he said, "I am your brother and if you fancy this little boy of yours than I advise you to never say that again."
I glared back at him equally as hard before saying, "You wouldn't dare. Your all talk without your body guard."
The next thing I knew, there was a sharp sting across my face.
I brought a hand up to my cheek and looked at him, dumfounded.
"I told you not to touch her!" I heard Luke growl from behind me, before he tackled Jacob to the ground.

Jacob struggled beneath him but it was no use.
Luke was way stronger than him, especially since he's mad.
Luke repeatedly laid punches to his face.
Jacob groaned repeatedly before finally, not making any more sound.
I slowly walked up to Luke, grabbing his shoulder.
He started to push me away, but stopped himself and looked up at me.
"I-is he dead?" I asked, wide eyed.
Luke looked down at Jacob's unmoving body and shrugged.
"I don't know, but we need to get out of here."
I nodded, helping him stand and walk towards the door.
He stopped to pick up his shirt and began to side it on his body.
"Luke? Won't that hurt?" I asked, worriedly.
"Badly, but I can't let people see it." He sighed, putting his hand on my back and guiding me out the door.

Once we got in his apartment, he pulled his shirt off, groaning in the process.
"Where's the bathroom?" I asked.
"Down that hallway, second door on the right."
I grabbed his hand and brought him to the bathroom with me.
He gave me a questioning look and I just smiled at him in return.
I gestured for him to sit backwards on the toilet seat while I opened the cabinet and took out a washcloth.
I wet it with slightly warm water and walked over to him.
"Ready?" I asked and he reached for my other hand to lace our fingers together.
"Yeah." he sighed.
I began gently cleaning his cuts, luckily they weren't too bad. Nothing I can't fix.
I could tell it was hurting him, the way he winced and the small grunts that were leaving his lips.
"Are you okay?" I murmured in his ear.
"Yeah, I'm fine." He said, through gritted teeth.
I left a kiss on his neck before continuing to clean his neck.
Once I had finished, I said, "I'm gonna need a needle and thread."
"Bottom drawer on the left." he said, "Are you sure you know how to do that?"
I chucked, pulling out the needle, thread, and some gauze along with wraps.
"My mum taught me. She's a nurse." I chuckled.
He gave me a nervous smile and I kissed his lips before getting the needle and thread ready.
Before I began, I said, "I'm about to start. You good?"
"Yeah." He said, so I began.
When I put the needle through his skin, he groaned in pain.
"I'm sorry, baby." I said kissing his shoulder.
"It's fine." He grunted.
I kept going, yearning for it to be over so I wouldn't have to hear him in pain any longer.
When I finally finished, I put the bandages over it and put everything back where I got it.
"I'm done." I said, as he turned to face me.
"Thank you, baby." He murmured, pulling me into his lap.
"Anything for you." I sighed, putting my hand on the back of his neck and pulling him in for a kiss.
