P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALUM <<333333
_____________________Luke went home around 3:00 the next day to get ready, but promised he would be back by 6:00.
Becca had come home right when I told her about Michael's concert.
"I'm so excited! Do you think his band mates are cute?" Becca squealed, making me raise my eyebrows.
"Becca, you have a boyfriend." I reminded her.
She just laughed and said, "Yeah, but that doesn't mean I can't fangirl over a hot band."
With a wink, she walked into the bedroom where she began looking through my dresses.
I followed her to my closet and said, "Becca, what are you doing?"
"Well I need a cute dress and none of mine will do. And you are basically a fashion expert, so I know any of yours will do." She said with a wink, turning back to look through my dresses.
"You know it isn't anything formal, it's just a concert. You don't have to wear a dress."
She stopped rummaging through my closet long enough to turn and glare at me.
"Do you not know me at all?" She laughed, "I have to look nice.
"Okay, then." I laughed and walked into the bathroom, leaving her to pick out a dress.I simply straightened my hair, deciding not to dress up too much.
I applied a bit of makeup, but not a whole lot, then walked out to find Becca wearing one of my shorter dresses.
It was a coral color with 3 quarter length sleeves.
It was tight at the bottom and looser at the top and it came to about mid thigh.
But the thing that really set the dress off was that the right side was pushed over to make her shoulder visible.
"That dress looks stunning on you." I marveled.
"Thank you." She smiled sweetly, walking into the bathroom to do her own hair.
While she did her hair, I went over to my closet to pick out my own outfit. After searching through my closet, I finally decided on a black tshirt with white striped and a pair of light wash skinny jeans with holes in the knees.
I slipped on a pair of black madden girl sandals and the my phone for the time.It was 5:00 and Michael would be here at 6:00.
I went into the bathroom to tell Becca and when I laid eyes on her, I couldn't help the gasp that escaped my lips.
She bad curled her hair in beautiful ringlets that fell down her back and she had on a flower head piece that matched the color of her dress.
She had fixed her makeup to look natural and winged her eyeliner to perfection.
"Becca, you look...." I said, trailing off and not managing to finish my sentence.
"Overdressed? Is it too much? Do you think Cade will like it?" She asked, worriedly, glancing at herself in the mirror.
"No, not overdressed at all. You look great, Bee." I smiled at her and she smiled in return, wrapping me up in a hug.As we pull away, there's a knock on the front door and Becca and I both turn to look at each other.
"Five bucks it's Cade and not Luke." She smirks, challenging me with her eyes.
"Deal." I smirked back, grabbing her hand and shaking it in confirmation. We both bolted towards the door in hopes of winning, but much to our disdain, when I swing the door open, Luke and Cade are both standing behind it.
Looks like neither of us will be five dollars richer.
"Crap." Becca muttered.
"Not happy to see me babe?" Cade chuckled, walking over to Becca and kissing her cheek.
"Yeah, but I'm not happy to see him." She hugged, pointing at Luke.
Luke gasped playfully and put his hand over his heart.
"Ouch, Becca. That hurts." He feigned a broken heart.
"I don't have anything against you, it's just that me and Claire had a bet that it would be Cade and not you, so obviously I'm a little upset that you were at the door and I didn't get my five bucks." Becca pouted, making Cade laugh at her childish antics.
We all went into the living room and sat around watching TV while we waited on Michael to show up.We watched for a while and just when I pulled my phone out to check the time, (which was exactly 6:00) there was a knock at the door.
Everyone grabbed their things as I went around turning off the lights, before we all made our way to the door.
Becca opened it to reveal Michael, who was grinning from ear to ear.
"Someone looks happy." I laughed.
"And excited." Becca added, with a thumbs up.
"I am both of those things." My said, sounding like a giddy child.Michael walked us outside to a van that said '5 Seconds of Summer' across the side of it.
"Is this the name of your band?" Cade asked, turning to Michael.
"Yep." Mikey said, popping the P.
I saw Luke roll his eyes out of my peripheral vision and I elbows his side.
He looked at me with an innocent look on his perfect face as I simply glared at him and whispered, "Don't roll your eyes, be nice"
He rolled his eyes again, making me glare at him a second time.
He smirked and kissed my cheek before following everyone else and climbing into the van.It was a bit cramped once we got inside, but not too bad.
Michael had walked up front to the driver's door and we were all in the back with his band mates.
I turned to look at them as they greeted us.
"Hi." The guy with light brown hair smiled. "I'm Ashton."
We all introduced ourselves to Ashton and then the dark haired boy spoke up.
"I'm Calum." He grinned, sticking his hand out for each of us to shake. We made small talk while Michael drove and before I knew it, we came to a halt in front of a decently sized building.
We all hopped out of the van and Michael led us to a door at the back.
A guard stood by the door, looking quite scary.
But Michael waked right up to him and pulled out a laminated card that hung around his neck.
The guard took a look at the card, then nodded and stepped away so we could walk in.Backstage wasn't very extravagant. It looked like backstage of a play theater, just dirtier and not nearly as fancy.
There was one small room for the boys to get ready in and we waited for them outside to give them a little privacy before their show.
"This is dumb." Luke muttered with a pout on his cute face.
"No it isn't, Luke. Don't be so uptight." I sighed, reaching over and locking our fingers together.
He grinned at me and muttered, "I know how you can help with that."
My head snapped towards him after his little remark, "Oh my god, Luke. Shut up."
He looked at me innocently, as if he hadn't said a thing, "What? Is it something I said?"
I rolled my eyes at him and he smirked, kissing my forehead.
"What am I going to do with you?" I sighed, smiling at the crazy boy beside me.
He just gave me an innocent smile and began playing with my fingers that were locked with his.
