Luke stayed over about half the day, but then he had to leave because he had some 'business' to take care of.
Whatever that means.

So after he left, I went to my room and pulled out my guitar.
I had been playing guitar for a while now, but I just recently started writing songs.
I took my notebook and pen from my bedside table and went back to the living room to sit down on the couch.

I stayed like this all day and before I knew it, I had completely finished a new song.
This is the 3rd song that I have finished, although nobody has ever seen them.
Not even Becca.

I had always been interested in music but I had just discovered my joy for making it, a couple of years ago.

I decided to take a little snack break, to reward myself for the completion of my newest song. I walked into the kitchen to try and find something decent to eat.

I was honestly trying to eat healthier, but it was so difficult when all of the sweets and candies are just calling my name.

I opened the fridge and pulled out some small carrot sticks, deciding that I didn't really want any sweets right now. Nor did I need them.

I sat on the couch and ate my carrot sticks while watching TV. This is how I spent most of my afternoon.

I had finished the whole bag of carrot sticks and by the time my eyes came unglued from the TV screen, it was around 4:00.

I didn't want to eat supper until around 6:00, so I cleaned up around the apartment for a bit.

I even cleaned up a bit in Becca's room.

Speaking of Becca, I have no idea when she will be back. I haven't even talked to her since she left yesterday.

I was getting slightly lonely without Becca nagging at me every second of the day.
She keeps me sane, I tend to overreact the majority of the time but all Becca had to do is talk some sense into and keep me from doing anything rash.

Just as I had that thought, the front flung open and Becca walked in with a big grin plastered across her face.

"Guess who just had the best day ever. Me, that's who." She exclaimed, plopping down onto the couch.

"What happened to you, perky pants?" I asked, stifling a laugh.

"Oh, I just had the best day humanly possible. And it was all because of Cade."

"What did he do?" I smirked, sitting down next to her on the couch.

"He brought me to the mall, which I had no idea that was where we were going because he refused to tell me anything until we got there, then made me try on all of these beautiful dresses until I found the perfect one. Which was this one." She said, motioning to the dress she was wearing.

I hadn't even realized how dressed up she really was until she had said that. I guess I hadn't really been paying much attention to what she looked like, I was just happy she was back.
Her dress was a fan color that was covered in black lace. It was also long sleeve and came to mid thigh.
"It looks really good on you." I praised.
"Thanks, but anyway, after that he took me to dinner. Guess where he took me to dinner. Guess." She said, obviously very giddy for me to try and guess.
"Uh, McDonald's?" I asked in a joking manner.
Although, she didn't exactly find it amusing.
"Seriously, Claire." She whined. "Guess. It was somewhere really nice."

Before I could even take another guess, she couldn't help herself.
"ll Cielo. You know that expensive Italian restaurant?"
My jaw dropped open, "The one in Beverly Hills?"
"Yep." She beamed.
"This guy must really love you if he took you there to eat."
"I know." She smiled and stood up from the couch.
"I'm gonna turn it in for the night. I'm exhausted." She mumbled while stretching and letting a yawn escape from her lips.
"I probably should too. I have work in their morning." I groaned.

The next morning at work was decent.
As decent as it gets when you work as a barista/cashier for a coffee shop.
It had been so slow all day, that I almost fell asleep several times and jumped every time Penny would snap in my ear.
It was like this all day. On and off, on the verge of sleep, absolutely bored out of my mind.
That is, until I saw Luke round the corner, coming towards the front doors and I perked up a bit.
He walked towards the two glass doors with a smug smile on his face.
At least it looked smug..and the slightest bit forced.
When he got closer to the doors, he struggled to not meet my eyes.
He had stopped right in front of the doors and turned around, as if he was waiting for someone.

He stared at the corner he had previously emerged from and I did too, curious as to what he was possibly waiting around for.
And there she came, strutting around the corner in her 6-inch heels and short, tight fitting red dress (that honestly made her look sluttier than I ever imagined she was).
Jasmine.
And to my horror, she walked right up to Luke, he wrapped an arm around her waist, and they pushed through the doors, walking straight towards me.
And the worst part is, Luke looked as if he was happy; happy with my uncomfortable expression, the hurt in my eyes, and the girl wrapped in his arm.

But you couldn't deny seeing the slightest bit of remorse sprinkled in his sparkling blue eyes.
