A/N:
Hi :p I don't update this story often because I have another story that I'm almost finished writing. But once I finish my other one I will post on this one a lot more often. (:
------------------------------------"Michael Clifford, is that really you?" I asked, astonished.
"In the flesh." He smiled.
Michael and I had dated for a while in high school. He was my first love.In high school, he had stared dying his hair a new color every month and I see that he's still doing since his hair is a bright red, obviously to match his last name.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him into a hug.
I haven't seen Michael since senior year, when we broke up.
We broke up on good terms, we both decided to part ways and move on with our lives, it's not like we hate each other."What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I just moved in. Do you live here? Or are you just visiting a boyfriend?" He inquired.
His face actually held a tad bit of something. Jealousy maybe? But it left too soon for me to tell.
His face soon turned back to his joyous self.
That's one thing that I always loved about Michael, he just had this blissful aura about him."Yes, I live here with Becca." I smiled, reassuringly.
"Ahh, how is Becca these days?" He asked, obviously delighted that Becca and I are still best friends.I checked the time on my watch and saw that it was only 8:30.
"How about you come and see for yourself? You could come in for a bit." I told him and his face lit up at the words.
"That sounds great." He beamed.
He helped me collect all my towels, not asking why I had a bunch of towels, which I was grateful for.We stepped onto the elevator and made our way up to my apartment.
When we reached my floor, we stepped off and walked down the hallway towards my door."So are you working or are you in college or..?" He started conversation.
"I'm actually working at Starbucks for now, I'm going to college next year. I decided to take a year off."
I did want to go to college as soon as I graduated, but I just had to have a break. My brain needed a break."Oh, do you work tomorrow?" He asked, an idea forming in his head, I presume.
"Yes, I do actually."
"Well what time is your lunch break? Maybe we could grab some lunch." He said, scratching the back of his neck.
I instantly smiled at him, "It's at 12:00 and yeah that would be cool.""Cool." He grinned cheekily at me.
I fiddled with my keys, trying to find the right one when I dropped them on the ground.
Curse my awkward, trembling hands.I bent down to pick them up but apparently Michael had the same idea.
We both bent down and reached for my set of keys, my hand resting on top of his.
He looked up and his beautiful, blue-green eyes met mine.
Well this was awkward. He quickly picked up the keys and set them in my hand.
"There ya go." He muttered, looking down. A slight blush was evident on his cheeks.
I just chuckled and stood back up, picking the correct key and sticking it into the lock."I'm back." I yelled as I entered my apartment.
"And I brought a guest so I hope your decent."Becca was sprawled out on the couch with a bag a popcorn in her hand.
"Took you long enough." She grumbled."Sorry, mum got talking. You know how she is." I chuckled at her angered face.
"Who's the guest?" She asked, a sour expression still on her face.
Before I could answer, Michael walked around the corner and stood by my side.
"Hi." He smiled and gave her an adorable wave.
Her mouth dropped open and her eyes lit up.
