Sorry I haven't updated in a while guys, I have been so busy :O but I'll try to write in my spare time :)
_____
The nightmares didn't go away. In fact, they got worse.
I usually woke up in a sweaty panic and the only person who can successfully calm me down is Luke.
But, this most recent nightmare was the worst by far.
"Claire! It's okay, I'm right here!" I hear Luke call over my excessive yelling.
He pulls me into his arms and my yells turn into whimpers.
"Baby, what's going on with you?" Luke whispered, tucking some hair behind my ear.
I didn't answer as I tried to catch my breath. I just snuggled closer to Luke's chest and shut my eyes tight.
"What is causing these nightmares?" Luke asked, mostly to himself.
________
"How are you feeling?" Louis asks as Luke and I walk into the kitchen that morning.
"Crap. I'm feeling like absolute crap." I sighed, taking my usual seat at the counter.
"I have no idea what's causing these nightmares and I have no idea what to do about it." Luke groans, resting his head against his hands.
I sighed and scooted my chair closer to his, "I'm sorry, Luke. I would stop it if I could."
I felt awful for making Luke feel like this. He's been so stressed out lately and he's barely getting any sleep from worrying about me too much and also from getting woken up by me because of my excessive nightmares.
"It's not your fault, Claire. It just kills me that your having these awful nightmares and I have no idea how to help you. I hate not being able to help you." Luke says, running his hands through his hair, something I've noticed he does when he's stressed or nervous.
"Luke, you do help me. You help me so much." I assured him.
"Yeah, mate, your the only one that can calm her down. I tried once when you were out and I had no luck at all." Louis said, giving Luke a small smile.
Luke wraps his arm around my waist and kisses the top of my head.

That afternoon, the boys and I decided we would all go out to dinner for the first time in forever.
We never all went out together and definitely didn't stay out for that long at a time. But, we decided to risk it today.
We all decided on this nice Italian restaurant that Harry liked. He claims that they have the most delectable food but I'll just have to be the judge of that.

The waitress showed us to our table and to be honest, I was already pleased with Harry's restaurant choice. It smelled delicious and every was decorated so beautifully. The building itself was huge and we were seated at the balcony on the back of the restaurant.
We were seated in stunning white, plush seats and there were scented candles at the center of the long table.
Just as we sat down, a waiter walked up to our table with a smile so large he was obviously faking it.
"Hi, what kind of beverages can I get you this evening?"

Once we all ordered our drinks, it was only about 5 minutes before they were brought out and we were asked for our orders.
But, none of us actually got to choose what to order.
Just as before Harry began insisting. He said that we just had to get his usual and he assured us that we would love it just as much as he did.
So he ordered 6 steaming plates of Italian Beef Braciole.
"Harry, if this isn't delicious you owe me a nice Italian meal." Louis grumbled at the cheeky boy.
Harry just gave him a cocky smile and turned back to his phone which he had been typing on ever so often, pretty much all day.
"How have you been typing away with all day, mate?"
Niall inquired, asking the exact thing we had all been wondering all day.
A blush slowly rose up Harry's cheek and a tight lipped smile crept onto his face.
"No one." He mumbled and struggled to keep his mouth from breaking out into a full blown smile.
"Oooh, Harry has a crush!" Louis exclaimed, giggling like a child and poking at Harry's sides.
"It's not that big of a deal." Harry sighed in response, attempting to look annoyed but we all knew he was enjoying this.
"Well come on, Harry. What's her name?" Liam asked, leaning his elbows on the table and leaning closer.
"Her name is Elena, but we're just friends. Nothing more." Harry sighed, this time rather sullenly and sipped his drink.
"And do you want more than that?" I asked softly, not wanting to upset him further, because his mood clearly just changed from slightly embarrassed but enjoying the banter to please stop talking about and forget I ever said anything.
"No. Well, yes. Maybe. I don't know. But, nothing else can happen. Even if I wanted more, I don't want to mix her up in all of this mess."
I totally understand where he's coming from seeing as Luke mixed me up in this mess and has definitely taken its toll on me.
But, on the other hand, if she really likes him then she shouldn't mind. I know I don't.
I would rather be in serious danger and be with Luke, than be completely safe and without him.
"Harry, I understand where your coming from seeing it happened to me first hand." I saw Luke's face fall slightly out of the corner of my eye and quickly sped up to finish what I was trying to say.
"But, it was the best thing that's ever happened to me. If being safe means that I can't be with Luke then I'd rather be in danger for the rest of my life."
All of the boys smiled at me and when I turned towards Luke I immediately felt his lips meet him.
"Nice save." He murmured in my ear and I laughed gently before saying, "But, it's true Luke. I don't know what I would do without you."
"I'll be happy with my decision of putting you in danger as long as I get to be the one keeping you safe."
