Heroes of Townsville: Chapter 14

(Kaoru's P.O.V.)
We all sat down at the table (Me and Katsumoto sitting next to each other at the right side of the table, Dai and Shou on the other side, and mom and dad at both ends of the table). "Now let us all start eating!", mom said merrily. "Itadakimasu!", all of us said at the same time and we started eating. Katsumoto was telling all of us stories about his life and all, and I must say that they were pretty funny. "Kaoru, what is this guy doing here?", Dai suddenly asked while pointing at Katsumoto. I think he just noticed him right now. Then I said, "Better than you.". "What? That doesn't even make any sense!", he said. "You're face doesn't make any sense.", I said bluntly. "Oooohhhh! You just got burned!", Shou said and he threw the burned chicken nugget at him. "Shut up you.", Dai said annoyed at Shou. Mom hit the glass with the spoon lightly to get our attention and she said, "Mind your manners at the table please! We have a guest here you know, so please be kind to him, boys. And by boys I mean Dai and Tokio. Shou, you're off the hook from that chicken nugget.". "Yes!", Shou said with victory. Dad and Dai looked at each other and they both said, "Haii", lazily. We ate and laughed while Katsumoto told us about himself and his brothers. My family also talked about themselves to Katsumoto. And by talked I mean my dad and my brothers bragging about how they are stronger than other people. I believe my dad, but my brothers? Pssh, not to be bragging but, they're just little wimps who can't even win against me! "I believe your dad, I've seen him on TV, but I don't know about your brothers.", Katsumoto whispered to me. Then I said, "They're just bragging bastards, you'll just have to get used to it, I guess.". "How do you even put up with your own brothers?", Katsumoto said. "Pssh, please, you're much worse than these guys. And shouldn't you know? You also have brothers you know.", I said. Then he said, "You think I don't know that? I see them in almost every day of my life... actually, I see them in literally EVERY DAY of my life, we live with each other for God's sake.". I laughed at this. "Alrighty, is everyone done eating? Good! Now let's have dessert!", mom said happily not even waiting for anyone to answer and left to the kitchen to get the dessert. I wonder what it is.

"The fight starts later!", dad suddenly whispered/shouted and stabbed the table with his chopsticks  and now they're stuck upright on the table. "Wait what?", Katsumoto said with a face that says 'you're kidding me, right?'. "Wait, weren't you still eating just a second ago?", I asked weirded out while pointing at my dad's plate. "I said, THE FIGHT STARTS LATER!!!!!", dad shouted so loud that the food started flying all over the place. "What fight?!", mom said suddenly running out the kitchen and scolded dad, "Now you come here mister, didn't I already tell you to not threaten anybody that visits this household.". "Apartment", dad corrected. Then mom looked over to us and said, "Now don't mind us- Why in the world are the chopsticks stuck on the table?!". "Dad did it!", me and my brothers said at the same time while pointing at dad. Mom smiled at dad and asked, "Do you know how much I spent on that table, dear?". "Umm, no.", dad said avoiding eye contact with mom. "That table was very expensive, and what do you do? You f****** drill a hole into it with some stupid chopsticks!", mom shouted at him and continued, "Go up to your room mister!". "I'm not a child", dad said crossing his arms. "Now!", mom yelled. "Okay!", dad said walking up to their room. "It's getting pretty late now, you should go home now, Katsumoto.", mom said. Then Katsumoto said, "Yeah, I guess I should go now. Thanks for having me and all that stuff. See ya tomorrow, Kao-chan!". "Yeah, bye!", I said while watching him walk out the door. "I think he's perfect for you!", mom said happily. Then I said, "Who? Katsumoto? Gross!". "That's what you say at first but believe me, I see a future for both of you.", mom said winking. "Ugh, whatever.", I said walking up to my room having the lightest blush ever imagined. "See ya tomorrow, Kao-chan!" "See ya tomorrow too, Katsumoto-kun.", I whispered letting myself fall asleep peacefully.... "Shou! Where the heck did you put my phone?!". Never mind.

(HIM's P.O.V.)

"Sleep tight little Powerbrats, because this will be the last you get enough rest from my wrath of vengeance!", I said while watching the Puffs sleep with my black particles. "Uhmm, hello? Is anybody there?", a certain red haired girl asked cluelessly. "*evil laugh* just in time.".
