K-POP one shots

2pm ~ Nichkhun - I'm the one

      You sighed, glanced at Nichkhun and shook your head. "Don't say it." You rolled your hands into fists, letting them lay on your lap. Your boyfriend YoungBin was late, again.

"I wasn't going to say anything." Nichkhun said with a simple shrug. You both were seating at a local restaurant, it was the third time you were trying to get Nichkhun and YoungBin to meet, but every time something came up and your boyfriend wouldn't show. Though it was nice in the end hanging out with your best friend, Nichkhun seemed to give little messages that YoungBin wasn't loyal to you.

"You weren't going to say anything til you were sure he wasn't coming." You countered. At this point you were really tried of your boyfriend's very lousy excuses. Checking your phone for what seemed the hundredth time that hour, you saw a message come in that made your smile return.

'On my way over Jagiya <3' -YoungBin

"See he's actually coming this time." You pulled up your phone, showing Nichkhun the message. Nichkhun nodded slowly and toyed with his food, pushing aside some of the chicken. His mood changed, his smile practically faded as YoungBin walked through the door and sat next to you. YoungBin introduced himself to Nichkhun, who smiled and nodded.

"I'm so sorry for not being able to meet you in the past, but I'm thankful that you were able to keep my Jagiya company." YoungBin smiled and kissed your cheek.

"Yeah, sure.. whatever." Nichkhun muttered and leaned back in his chair, trying to get comfortable, though the situation was anything but. The random conversation about Nichkhun and YoungBin's life kept you interested as the boys talked. You smiled loving the sight of the twos boys you loved most in the world getting along so great. They laughed, talked about sports which at a point made you feel left out, but Nichkhun would always find a way for you to come back into the conversation. After a couple of hours of conversation, YoungBin stood up and smiled weakly at you both.

"Sorry, I have work to go to. It was nice meeting you both." He gave you a peck on the lips and a simple wave to Nichkhun before leaving.

"See, isn't he nice?" You said leaning back into your chair.

"Yeah, I suppose." Nichkhun nodded and leaned forward, taking his coffee mug in his hands and taking a sip. "Let's do something, I'm not looking forward in going home just yet."

     You looked down at your phone for the time. "Yeah it's really early, I suppose we could walk around." Both of you left the restaurant after paying. Nichkhun smiled and bumped you with his shoulder making you smile. Walking in silence with him was comfortable, the beautiful afternoon and perfect weather, it all seemed right.

"We should go see the pond." Nichkhun said a slight blush on his cheeks. You looked at him and thought about it. The pond was a special place to Nichkhun and you, going there when you were both in high school, the time when you two had feelings for one another. You nodded agreeing to it. Nichkhun grabbed your hand once it was in seeing distance. The glimmering pond, which now seemed so much smaller than you remembered it, was in the middle of the park surrounded by the lust trees and rose bushes. He stopped at the edge and smiled, stilling holding your hand.

      You let out a sigh, smiling at the beautiful scenery.

"It seems different now." Nichkhun looked to the side at you.

"Well yeah, the last time we were here we were... you know.." You trailed off, knowing he'd understand what you meant.

"We were in love." Nichkhun finished the last sentence. He said it simply like it was something completely normal, as if YoungBin never existed and maybe for that one moment, to you he didn't. "Remember the promise I made you?"
