You sat on the sofa in the living room of the apartment that you and you soon to be ex boyfriend shared. You were tried of everything now, it was time to end it, the lies, the possible cheating, the fame, the- you groaned thinking of all the reasons. Though the pain in your chest told you that it wasn't going to be like what you imagine the break up to be like. Really in you head, you were going to say it's over, act totally okay with it and not cry, definitely not cry, but by the looks of it and how you felt when you heard his car drive up, you possibly were.
The sound of the car door, the sound of his heavy steps coming up to the door, the sound of the key jiggling into the lock. Each of his familiar sounds sent a stab to your heart, everything you loved would soon disappear.
"_______. I'm home." His voice made your heat ache with pain. You took a second to collect your thoughts, to remind yourself why you were doing all of this. You took a deep breath and stood up, walked to him.
"I want to break up." The words came out and his head shot up at you. The tears spilling down your face as he shook his head slowly.
"J-Jagiya? Why would you say that to me?" He asked his eyes searching for an answer. He was playing innocent, but he knew all the reasons why, he had to.
You scoffed and glared at him, though the tears spilled down, you tried to make him see how angry you were. "Don't act so damn shocked, Changmin." You paused and ran your fingers through your hair. "All the sneaking around, late night at the studios? I called Yunho and he said that you never showed, Where the hell were you?"
"So you think I'm cheating? You have no proof of that lie." Changmin spat back.
"It's not just that, it's you being famous that's added up to my stress, I hate all of this. I'm done, you come home and fall asleep, I understand that you're working all day and that you're tried, it's just made me realize that you don't have time for me. This is best." You nodded partly convincing yourself. Changmin chuckled and looked at you, "You can't be serious?"
"Dead, serious." You crossed your arms arcoss your chest. "I'm done. I've already moved out all my belongings."
His smirk faded and was replaced with a shocked expression. "Jagiya... yah.. don't do this. I know things have been crazy lately and that I haven't made time for you. I'm -"
"No, it's too late for apologies Changmin. I'm leaving." You stated, sighed and went for the door. Changmin gripped his hand on your wrist, you sighed and looked down, jerking your hand away from him. You turned to him, giving him a solid glare.
"Please don't do this." He pleaded, his eyes galssy. You shook your head slowly, feeling the tears fall again down your face, it was horrible the feeling. You walked out of the apartment, covering your mouth, trying to quiet the sobs as you walked down the streets. Strangers giving you looks, sighing and sobbing, you managed to make it back to your friends apartment.
"Yah!!! __________!!!" Changmin yelled for you.
You spun around to see him running up to you, tears running down his face. "Who said you could leave me? _________? Have you gone insane? I love you! Doesn't that mean anything to you?" He asked, he sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, messing it up.
You looked down unable to speak.
"Damn it _______! Say something." He yelled. You winced and stumbled back, making him losing his grip around your wrist.
"We're done, I have nothing else to say to you." You calmly said, though you could feel yourself losing, losing to where you wanted to cry in the shower for hours. You walked inside the apartment, closing the door quickly and leaning back on the door taking in shallow breaths.
A month passed, a month of trying to heal when you saw him again. He was touching th edge of his coffee mug at a local coffee shop, he was leaning back into the chair, staring blankly. You ordered your coffee and tried to go without being seeing, but like life was, he spotted you.
You backed up almost bumping into the man in back of you, bowing apologizing you quickly went of the exit. Changmin scrabbled out of his seat, running over to catch you before you left. He paused in front of the door, blocking your exit.
"_______." Changmin breathed, his voice sounding desperate. He looked well besides his panda eyes and his weight looking much less than you remembered. His collar bones sticking out more than you liked. His clothing was flawless like always, the expensive shirts and jeans.
"Changmin.." You smiled barely, feeling a hole in your chest.
"I... I need to talk to you, please." His voice cracked and it looked like at any moment so would he. It scared you how fragile he looked, like even the simplest gentle wind would harm the boy you loved. You nodded sitting back at the table he occupied.
"You look like you've been living well." He weakly smiled. You nodded, "I got a job offer, so I'm excited about that." You smiled and clasped your coffee. He looked down at his cup, biting down on his lower lip. You moved into him and touched his cheek. He let out a sharp sigh and closed his eyes, leaning into your hand.
"Please forget about me." It took you a lot to say it but it had to be said. "You look like you lost a lot of weight and you haven't slept. Please." You sighed and let your hand fall to your side. "I have to go, my friend is expecting me." You said standing up.
Changmin stood up immediately and grabbed your hand. "Don't go."
"Changmin, please don't do this to me." You looked up at him, tears running down your face.
"Don't do this to me either, ________. I love you, I was wrong to neglet you, I want you back, please. Don't go. Don't you leave me." Changmin stepped closer to you, giving you a chance to protest, to give me a sign to stop but you didn't, so he got closer. His lips inched closer to yours, his breath becoming uneven and a single tear falling down his face as your lips came into contact with his.
You felt his tears drop down on your face as he kissed you, his hands tangling into your hair. It was this kiss that really made you hesitant to leave him. Changmin was sorry, he was unhappy and not doing well without you, and to be honest though life seemed live able, you weren't happy without him. Nights of endless crying, your friend concerned about your well being, it wasn't the best not having Changmin hold you while you slept.
He pulled apart. "Will you stay?"
You held on to his waist. "I...I.." You hugged him, wrapping your arms around his waist. He smiled and hugged you back. Sure Changmin and your relationship wasn't perfect, but there was no way you were leaving him, not Changmin.
