**Samantha's POV**
It was the day before Thanksgiving and JJ's family was going to be here in any minute now. I was officially 3 months pregnant and had the slightest little bump beginning to grow. I was nervous and I didn't want Connie to figure it out right away so I put on the baggiest, most flowing blouse I could find in my closet. JJ and I were planning on revealing the surprise after dinner tomorrow, but I know both him and I were not going to be able to hold it in that long so we said we would give them their presents tonight if we figured we couldn't wait that long.
I heard JJ open the door to the house and his family's voices filled the house. I couldn't help but smile when I heard his mother, father and brothers- I walked down the stairs and saw all of them congregating in the foyer, but not for long- JJ's brothers wondered into the kitchen, looking for food I'm sure.
"Oh Samantha! How are you?" Connie asked, her face lighting up when she looked up at me. I ran over to hug her, trying not her press my stomach too hard, knowing Connie she'd be able to read my mind and figure it out in a second. Luckily I was in the clear, she hadn't mentioned anything just yet. "Okay, what do I need to help you with for tomorrow?" she asked while clapping her hands together while she followed me into the kitchen to help me prepare some sides for tomorrow. I was thankful she was here, JJ always invited some of the rookies over who didn't have any house to go to on Thanksgiving so between the Watt family and the rookies, we had a ton of food to cook and I was exhausted already. I had to tell her tonight- otherwise she'd figure it out by tomorrow morning.

We all went into the living room after we had a bunch of pizza for dinner, JJ pulled me to the side before I made my way to the couch to put my tired feet up. "Are we going to tell them tonight?" he asked me, as excitement danced in his eyes like a kid in a candy store.
"Yeah, go get the jerseys- but you have to make it as natural as possible!" I said to him.
"Psh, please- you may have a Tony award babe, but I'm going to win an Oscar with this performance!" he said and I couldn't help but smile while playfully punching him in the arm.
"Go get the damn jerseys you idiot." I turned on my heels and joined everyone else in the living room, sitting next to Connie.
"Everything alright?" she asked me.
"Oh yeah, I just had to stop JJ from eating your Eclair Cake- it's an exhausting job!" I said and she seemed to buy it.
JJ came walking in with some jerseys wrapped in some plastic and threw them on both of his parents' laps then sat next to me, pulling me in his arms and kissing my head.
"What are these?" his father asked, confusion in their eyes as they looked up at JJ and I/
"Oh, it's new jerseys for you guys- they updated them so I figured you should have new ones for this weekend's game." he said nonchalant, his parents began to unwrap them- only looking at the front, but holding them up so everyone else in the room could see what was written on the back. TJ figured it out first, we could tell by the huge grin on his face and then Derek began to laugh.
His parents still looked confused but they looked over at us. "Well thanks J, I don't see a difference but I always appreciate a new one." his father said.
