August 2012...

**Samantha's POV**

It was my last day in New York City and I was spending it the best way I knew how to- with my best friend, on stage and finally one of the best Italian dinners in the city of New York- Carmine's. I woke up next to my cat Lucy and looked out the window at the skyline in front of me. I felt sad but excited that I was leaving tomorrow. The good thing was, I was keeping my apartment and renting it out to other Broadway actors for a couple weeks at a time so I could still come back here and visit. Tabitha was happily married now, so that made it a hell of a lot easier to leave here. 

Tabitha was going to take my cat with her to her new home, a beautiful little town home on the Hudson River. As much as I loved her, JJ wasn't a fan of cats since he was allergic to her long hair and I couldn't force the cat on him. I wasn't too bummed about it, Lucy loved Tabby and vice versa. 

I looked around the dinner table at all of my closest friends from the city and couldn't help but smile. All of these people have supported me over the years and throughout my successful career. Sure, it stung a little when an article came out from a critic announcing my "retirement" from Broadway, claiming I was "following in my mother's footsteps" and leaving something good behind for a man. But in all reality, I had been doing this the same amount of time that other actors retired from their own careers- I just started at a younger age. 

I knew there was no way I was going to be able to sleep tonight. Most of my things, like my furniture, was going to stay in the apartment and most of my other things have already been sent to Texas. I'm flying out to Wisconsin tomorrow, with my 2 large suitcases, to meet up with JJ so we could fly down together. As I said goodbye to all of my friends one last time and dialed Justin's number on my cellphone as I stepped into my cab. 

"Hello there sweet thing." he said to me on the other side of the phone. 

I smiled at his attempt at flirting with me. "Hi JJ. What are you up to?" I asked. 

"Oh you know, just waiting for you to get here and be with me." 

We talked my whole ride home in the cab and for another hour after I got into my apartment. I imagined what it would be like when I was doing my nightly routine with him just in the other room talking to me, instead of over the phone and I couldn't help but smile at the thought. Him and I would be moving into a new house together, in a new state with pretty much a whole new life. Was I ready to do this? Were we ready to take this next step together? I guess there was only going to be one way to find out- just take the jump.

**JJ's POV**

We pulled up in front of our new house and I looked over at Samantha, "Welcome home sweetheart." 

She turned her head and gave me the most heart melting smile a man has ever seen. She was happy again. I could see it in here eyes, I was relieved since I was afraid she wasn't going to be happy with moving from NYC to Texas with me. They were two completely different worlds- New York was her dreams come true and I was hoping I could be a good enough man and make her other life dreams come true together down here. 

As we approached the front door, I took out my keys, unlocked the door and opened it up. Before I took a step inside, I turned towards Samantha, scooped her up in my arms and carried her over the thresh hold and into our new house. She threw her head back laughing, revealing the slightest bit of dimples on her cheeks that only come out when she has the biggest smile on her face. I kissed each of them softly and proceeded to carry her up the stairs and into our new room- the first room we would share together. 

We finally got into the master bedroom and there was only a bed and two dressers in there- everything else had to be moved in, but all we needed was the bed right this second. I laid her down on the mattress that only had white cotton sheets over it, climbed over top of her and kissed her. She let out a little moan on the other side of my lips and I couldn't help but smile at that pleasurable sound. 

I pulled away, sat up and looked down at her- admiring her beauty. She was wearing a simple yellow sundress with her long, natural wavy long locks framing her face and cascading down her chest. Since I had been between her legs, her sundress had pulled up a little over her thighs, revealing a little bit of her lacy pink panties on underneath. I sucked in a sharp breath and she looked me in the eyes and bit onto her bottom lip. 

I bent back over and kissed her neck while pulling her dress up and over her head. I trailed kisses down her body and she giggled once I got to her bellybutton- I couldn't help but peer up at her angelic face and see the look of bliss on it while my kisses were now over top of her panties. 

I woke up to the sun set blazing into the windows of the room and my girl's naked body wrapped up in the white sheets. I kissed her forehead, stood up to put some shorts on and make my way downstairs. My stomach was growling- I had put in a second workout of the day with Samantha and my stomach was surely yelling at me now for it. The house was still pretty empty and thankfully I had Samantha down her now to help me get settled here and work her magic when it came to decorating it and putting the right furniture in here. I pulled out my phone and was looking for delivery around here since I knew Samantha was also going to be hungry when she woke up.

**Samantha's POV**

I woke up to the doorbell ringing and JJ's low voice echoing in the empty house. I walked over to the railings above the foyer and saw him turn around with a pizza box and brown bag on top. I put my hands over my heart and smiled down at him. 

"My hero!" I exclaimed like a typical Disney princess and ran down the stairs to meet him in the kitchen. 

We sat together on the kitchen floor, I eating pizza while he scarfed down a healthy salad. Even though we had so much unpacking to do, all while his busy football schedule started back up again next week, but it was so nice just sitting here in his t-shirt on the kitchen floor while eating pizza and laughing. I was happy in my new home and couldn't wait to see what this journey together will bring us.

Welcome new readers and hello again old ones! :)

Hope everyone had a great holiday and I am back, therefore I will be posting more frequently! This story is going to take a tiny bit of a change for the next couple of chapters, but really nothing major! You'll see. 

Also, the other story I wrote- A Very Watt Christmas, is completed. You didn't think I would give all the good stuff away in that short story, did you? haha, you'll just have to keep reading this one to find out what happens in Samantha and JJ's lives together!
