NEWS: TAKANO IN 2 DIFFERENT LEAGUES, 'KAYANG KAYA!"

Manila, After leading the Ateneo squad in their first ever championship in the womens basketball, Takano will try to lead the Perlas Pilipinas U18 in the first ever appearance of the Philippines in Asian U18 WB Championship.

The 2nd Year Atenean will be the Captain of Perlas Pilipinas with some of her Palarong Pambansa teammates and UAAP players.

With the performance of her showned in the UAAP, basketball analyst said that this will be the rise of womens basketball. That Takano is the spark plug.

Hearing the comments, Takano said, "Kayang kaya! Kayang kaya naming makashoot!". Laughing, she added "i cant say that we can win one or more but we will fight."

"Sa pangmatanda na league naman, all i need to do is score and defend. No pressure. I will just play what i love."
