(kids show idea)
In the city of Sludge, everything is dirty, and everyone is uncaring, to themselves, and to nature! They like smoke into the air, and promote the idea that you can trust no one! Because of this, a goddess of nature has selected a young boy to become Green Thumb, the ancient superhero, to save his city!Characters:
Ivy, the main character--Transforms into Green Thumb-- Asian, Male, likes crossdressing-- Buddhist, but he doesn't make a big deal out of it. He doesn't understand inequality, having never experienced it. His strength or his weakness?
Daisy and Darla, Ivy's parents-- Caucasian, both female --Christian, but they gladly support their son in his own religion. They encourage him to be who he wants, however, they've shielded him in the process. A blessing or a curse?
Gaea--A mysterious being who often comes in the form of a voice or an narcisisus flower. She claims to be a goddess, and enlists Ivy to become Green Thumb to save his beloved city. She overuses her ability to talk and only have him here, often breaking off into a confused rant in the middle of battle.
Herb, Ivy's childhood friend--Arabic, transgender(ftm)--Christian, though not willingly. A frustrated boy who was raised by parents who just don't understand, and don't give him enough attention. When Green Thumb begins saving the city, Herb is enslisted by an evil spirit to transform into the villain Foxglove to stop the superhero, in two ways-- transforming those in distress into villains, and constantly distracting and fighting Green Thumb during his fights with the villains. Herb has no idea that he's Foxglove, unlike Ivy, who is aware that he's Green Thumb.
