((Pronounced with goodbye as an adjective))
(Mentions of suicide below, be careful, sweethearts)

Halfway down, you realize it's not worth it.
But halfway down its too late.
But you have a chance.

"Welcome to the First Circle of Hell. How'd ya die?"
You look up. You're on the floor. Your wrists tingle. The person above you is male. He wears an orange hoodie, and they only look mildly interested, scribbling down things on a notepad. He has a black eye, and he wears a strange expression; scared anticipation. Like he's ready for you to start screaming curses at him. You speak slowly.

"Su... Suicide..."

"Oh, really?"Now he looked more interested. He spoke into a walkie talkie. "Hey, Lucy, it's a suicidee!" You decided not to question his choice of words. He didn't seem to realize they might hurt anyone. Then again, he might. Either that, or you imagined that michevious, 'yeah, I said it' smirk. "Get up, darling."He held out his hand, and when you grabbed it, he squeezed it in a friendly manner, as he pulled you up. "We gotta get you to judging."

"Judging?"You ask, blinking.

"Yup. I'll explain on the way!"And he picked you up bridal style, and suddenly, you were in the air, zooming through a gray place. There were sparks of light in the distancw, small houses, where gray beings from every timeline interacted with beings that had the same strange features as the guy carrying you-- too tall for a human, marks over their eyes similar to this guy's black eye, and messy, messy hair. But there was a difference. They all had large wings. You quickly turned, and saw that this man was flying, with wings as big as the ones on the ground.

"Yknow, I usually hate this part, having to cart you guys all the way across Purgy. But you're cute, and you're not kicking around. Quite the opposite."You realized you were hugging onto him, and quickly moved away, feeling your cheeks heat up as his shit-eating smirk only grew.

"But anyway, I forgot formalities. What's your name, I'm Rai, bla bla bla."

"..."You didn't answer him.

"Don't be shy~"He nuzzled your head playfully, and you squeaked and tried to swat at the hand that had nuzzled something lower that your back.

He laughed, like it was a hilarious joke.
"I'm sorry, that was uncalled for. You can tell me later, darling."He winked. You looked away.

"Anyway, here in hell, people get roles assigned according to what kind of person they were. Like, most people get to live here and that's it, and then some of us go to work for the devil, and some get sent into further circles, and some us get reincarnated," your ears perked up at the latter option, "stuff like that. But, it's hard to tell what kind of people people were from suicide. I mean, we used to just let them all live here, but that caused a loooot of problems."

"Why's that? And I thought that people were supposed to burn in hell, regardless of who they were."You spoke up.

"Well, darling, basically anyway you go where you're aware you're going to die but you do it anyway counts as suicide. The exceptions are jobs where death isn't completely guaranteed, or where you had to do it. So like, people that are forced to work in a plant because they need mobey, or firefighters, per say, don't count. But people like criminals, or stupid teenagers who take on a dare, those guys count."

"Ah."

"Also, you don't ever burn in hell. I--"He suddenly looked frustrated. "I mean, where the hell, pun intended, did that assumption come from? Like--what? The only place in here that's even remotely hot is Wrath and Jealousy, and they're only as hot as a human's summer day at their worst. Goodness devil."

"I--I'm sorry? I mean, I just thought Hell was this big inferno where everyone burned."

"Naw, it's not your fault, darling. But I don't get that part either. He'll is way more organised. I mean, we have to be, with the amount of people we get."And suddenly, he landed, in,front of a replica of the Roman colosseum.

"Aww. I have to put you down."He grinned. You roll your eyes, as he puts you on your feet.

"I'll be in there later, and explain everything. I'm your demon now, after all~"

"Wait wha--"

"I said I'll explain everything later, darling. I gotta get your papers done, or Lucy's going to lose her shit."

You decided to do as he said and wait to ask any more questions.

"Hey, can I get a goodbye kiss?"He leaned close, but you turned away.

"Awww~"You thought he would beg, but then you heard the flap of wings, and you were left to walk into this great big place by yourself.
