Chapter 32

Carl's P.o.v.

We made it back to the prison with the two new people. Once dad drove into the prison we got out.

"Carl go show them around. Introduce them." Dad orders as he grabs the play pin we got for Judith.

"Don't you need help bringing the guns and all in?" I ask. He looks at Michonne who is already going up to the prison carrying a hand full of guns.

"I have Michonne, go on now."

I nod and look at the two very dirty people.

"Follow me."

I run up to our little basket ball court and see Hailey and Randall hugging.

Jealous hit me like a truck and I wanted him off of her.

"Randall..." I say making them immediately pull apart.

Oh my God.

Hailey's hair. It's absolutely gorgeous! I snap out of it and look at Randall.

"I have people I want you to meet."

I turn around and notice they sorta lost me.

"C'mon guy!" I yell getting their attention. I turn back around to face Randall and Hailey. I couldn't help but stare. Her bangs fell perfectly like they did before they grew out, and her hair looked beautiful resting on her shoulder in that braid.

"Randall?" Rachael asks breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Rachael? Oh my God!" Randall screams running to her, immediately wrapping his arms around her small body.

What in the world?

I look at Hailey who looks at me.

"You know her?" She asks looking away from me. Randall pulls away and wipes his eyes with the biggest smile on his face.

"This is my sister."

Oh my God. That's who she looked like, she looked like Randall, and now I know why.

"Randall, I'm so happy you found her." Hailey says giving him a side hug. I clench my jaw and storm off.

I can't have her, I know that. All I will do is hurt her, but I love her and can't see her with any other guy even if I know they are just friends.

God damnit.

I have to.
I have to keep my distance.

Hailey's P.o.v.

Carl stormed off and he looked frustrated, but I'm trying not to think too much about it and enjoy the newcomers.

"I'm Rachael as you can tell." She giggles. "And this is Joshua." She says pointing to the boy with long blonde hair and blue eyes. I smile and he smiles back.

"Just a heads up I'm gay so don't get any ideas." He says laughing a bit. I giggle and smile even wider.

"I wasn't going to get any ideas anyways, I have a boyfri-"

I stopped myself and looked at Randall who has his mouth in a shape of an O. I look at Rachael and Joshua and try my best to smile it off.

The awkwardness was very noticeable.

"I...Uhm, I'm sorry." I say lauging.

"The boy who brought you up here he...he's my ex. Recent ex. So..."

"I get it. No need to be sorry." Rachael says smiling.

I like her.

"I'm Hailey, by the way." I say.
