I'm going to update because I haven't in awhile and also because I'm almost caught up on writing. So enjoy ☺☺

Carl's P.o.v.

It's been a day since we brought those Woodbury people in, and I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that the governor is Hailey's dad. When I saw her crying when it was all over, I wanted to hug the hell out of her and tell her everything was going to be alright, but I just can't. I wouldn't want her to get the wrong of idea.

We can't be lovers.
We can't be friends.

It's upsetting, but thats how it has to be.

Today, we are going to clear out the rest of the prison, make it safer. It's going to take awhile, but we will do it, we have to.

°One week later°

Hailey's P.o.v.

"C'mon Hays get up." Beth shakes me, and I decide to give in. I open my eyes and smile.

"We have a big day today. You can sleep later."

I get up and get myself ready. I didn't care if Beth was in here, we're sister's who cares? Not me.

I slip on jean shorts and a black tank top, with my gray sneakers. I grab my gun and knife and put them in their holders, which are located in a belt around my waist. I brush my hair and put it in high ponytail, with my bangs falling perfectly. Randall didn't cut it that short so, I'm still able put it in a high ponytail.

"Let's go."

We walk out and down to the cafeteria. It's packed. I guess I should get used to it.

Hershal, Glenn, Randall, Rachael, Joshua, Daryl, Michonne, Carol, Maggie, Tyresse, Sasha, Rick...and Carl were all gathered around the table. Some were sitting some were standing. I walked up to Hershal and gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"Good morning." I say smiling. "Good morning." He smiles back.

I'm still in shock that my father is alive, and it scares me that he's still out here, but I can't worry about him. I shouldn't even be worrying about that worthless bastered.

Finding my dad didn't make me care for him anymore than I do. It made me hate him more.

"Okay guys, we are going to start a council and I want all of you to be on it. Each of you will have different jobs that I will give. Some will go on runs, some will cook and fill the water supplies, and some will help take care of the people. Like for example, Hailey and Carl..."

Uhm...no.

"Hailey and Carl, will pick which cell block people will be in and what cell they get, once we get that whole in the west wing fixed."

I hope he's just giving an example like he said, and not giving us are legit job. Carl and I haven't spoken. Matter of fact I rarely see him, he's always with Rachael.

I look at Carl in the corner of my eye, and he's already looking at me. I look away and just listen to what Rick has to say.

"I want Daryl, Glenn, Randall, Joshua, and Carl to go on a run. Try to find anything useful to fix the wall in west wing. Rachael, Beth, and Hailey, I want you three to round all these people up, line them up and ask them questions. We need to know who we are living with."

I look at Beth and smile. The guys start to head out, and once they left is when we started the round up.

"Hey guys!" Rachael yells trying to get their attention. The cell block was packed, it's loud with the chattering and laughing of children.
