 Chapter 2 

A couple weeks later I got a text,

Having a Scavenger Hunt party come at 8pm -Dez

I decided this would be fun and made a group chat with Allie, and my friend Nicole. I wrote,

Dez is having a Scavenger Hunt party at 8pm, Im picking you guys up at 7:30 okay? -Cara

Okay sounds fun! -Nicole

Can’t wait -Allie

I got ready for this party, it technically wasn’t a party party, this party was probably because Dez didn’t have a birthday party for his 18th so he is going to have this party. I rummaged through my closet trying to find something cute because I don’t go out much. I picked out a pair of ombre shorts and a loose sweater. It wasn’t cold considering I lived in Florida and it was Summer but I just really liked sweaters, and big clothes. I drove over to Allie’s house first since she was closer, both of the girls lived 5 minutes from my house, not even. Then we made our way to Nicole’s house and we were off to Dez’s house.

When we got there I texted Dez that we were there, and he came outside to welcome us. I was never comfortable with knocking on peoples doors when I was coming over. After everyone got there Dez gave us the papers on what we had to do. Most of us had cars, and there was about 30 people at his party so we were on teams. Allie, Nicole and I were on a team and the rest of the people that were there. I was only familiar with a few. 

Allie read off the paper and the first challenge was,

Find someone and ask for their autograph

I knew this would be an awkward game but it was gonna be a good time. Allie did the first one and we went to a gas station near by and she asked some random guy pumping his gas to give her his autograph. The guy kept repeating that he wasn’t famous or anything but she just kept repeating 

“Can I just please have your autograph”

Nicole and I waited in the car for the first one laughing so hard our rib cages hurt. Allie finally got the autograph and ran back to the car. Nicole read the second and third challenges.

2. Take a picture with someone random

Give a guy/girl your phone number

Nicole and Allie were staring at me when these challenges were read. I was blushing but I knew exactly what they were thinking. I drove over to the Supermarket and everyone got out of the car. I was so nervous I had never done something like this before and this was the prettiest guy i’d ever seen. Oh god what was I getting my self into. I took a deep breath and walked into the Supermarket.
