Chapter 8

Nicole heard a knock at the door and told me to get up and get the door which I thought was rude, but I didn’t care. I opened the door and sure enough, hotter than I remembered. Nick was standing there with a bag of chips and some ice cream. “You know the way to my heart,” I laughed. Letting him in. Nicole had Apples to Apples set up on her kitchen table. We all gathered around, we got the chips out and started playing the game. It was really fun, and I think Allie and Nicole really liked him. They have said they liked him before, but this time they were actually getting to know him. I didn’t even know him that well, but I liked his shyness towards things. 

“Well I better head out”, I heard him say after the game was over, around 11pm. “I have to work in the morning”.

“I will walk you to the door.” I said getting up from my seat. Walking outside with Nick. I closed the door and he kissed me. Nick kissed me. It was the most unexpected kiss ever. But I loved every second of it. 

“I had a really fun time hanging out with you and your friends, official game night”, He said smiling, and kind of blushing. 

“So did I, I am still waiting for that second date, by the way”, I said not knowing what came over me. Still smiling.

“I will text you when I get off work tomorrow.” he started to say as he walked off to his car. 

“Okay!” I said loud enough for him to hear me. 

I walked into Nicole’s house, walking to the table where she and Allie were. I just kind of sat there. 

“He kissed you didn’t he??”, Allie said with a really big smile on her face. 

“Yep”, I said with a smirk. Still staring into space.
