Fogging goggles. We all hate 'em, but there's really no way around it as soon as you forget and touch the lenses. Or is there? Introducing, the solution. To. All. Fogged. Up. Goggles!
What you need: baby shampoo, q-tip, goggles, fresh water from a sink.
***DO NOT TOUCH THE INNER LENSE AT ANY POINT DURING THE PROCESS***
1. Acquire everything
2. Dip the q-tip into the baby shampoo
3. Gently rub the part of the q-tip with baby shampoo over the inner lense.
4. Repeat on both inner lenses. The layer should cover the entire lense.
5. Rinse the goggles in water.
Goggles will last at least 2.5 hours before needing a fresh layer. Repeat before practice if practice if practice is 2+ hours, repeat every other practice if practice is less than 1 hour.
Why baby shampoo? Will regular shampoo work as well? Yes. Other shampoo will work, but when your goggles fill with water (let's face it. It happens to everybody) your eyes won't sting as much when it happens.
How does this work? Fog is caused from scratches or other imperfections in the lense. If you apply shampoo, they will temporarily fix the scratches, and thus reduce fogging.
