Yes, it can be difficult, particularly if you have the wrong mindset. If you're thinking 'this is so easy, why are we doing this', you're not gonna get anything out of it. So, have the right mindset.
1. Focus on a specific - focus on a specific element of your stroke that needs work. You could work on getting your elbows higher, or flipping perfectly, and pushing off on your back. Make a goal of getting it right.
2. Sing a song - jam out to a song in your head. Use it to keep from getting bored, and focus on setting your pace to match the songs.
