Chapter 12 Avoid The Mirror!! The Soul Sucker

Emily's POV

"Hey!! Guess what guys?" I said enthusiastically.

"What?" Esteban, Ale, and Paul said in unison.

"They just opened a new shop right next to the school!" I answered jumping in glee.

"Really? What's it called?" Paul asked interested.

"You know it didn't really have a name..." I said putting a finger on my chin.

"Well, how about we all go check it out after school?" Esteban suggested.

"That sounds really great!!" Ale said.

We all nodded. In class there was suddenly an announcement. "Paul Lopez and Emily Casillas please come to the front office."

I stood up and gazed at Paul puzzled, he simply shrugged and we went together.

We arrived at the front office and Gabby told us to go in the back room.

We nodded and headed towards it. Entering it we were surprised to see both our moms there.

"Mom? What are you doing here?" We asked in unison.

They laughed and my mom Griselda, said, "Well we were going to go over to Fresno to do a very important business."

"We will be back terribly late like at midnight." Paul's mom said kindly.

My mom and Paul's mom both worked in a very important company called Gold Gain.

"Is something wrong?" I asked.

"Oh no, it's just that the store you see next to the school is selling too much and people aren't even glancing at our products anymore. They have at least one in every city or town." Paul's mom explained.

"We have to be going now, you two have fun." My mom said and they gave us a kiss on the forehead and left.

We too left to class and waited for the day to end. After school we went to the store. It looked pretty antique.

We opened the door and the small jingling of the bell above the door was heard.

"Welcome..." A soft voice said. It was an old woman and a very kind one at that.

"Hello um... We wanted to know what you sold here." I told the old woman.

"We sell mirrors, various types of mirrors." She said kindly and gave us a soft smile.

If we were in an anime we would be sweat dropping right now.

"Oh well I guess we can look around." Paul said.

We all nodded and looked around the very unique store. "Oh! Look!" Ale said pointing at a very beautiful mirror.

"Oh my god!! It's amazing!!" I said completely dazed by it.

"I feel... Like staring into it..." Ale said walking almost zombie like to the mirror.

"Yes, me too." Esteban said. They gazed into it and suddenly a white light flew out of them and into the mirror.

Esteban and Ale fell to the floor and their eyes looked emotionless.

"What happened?!" I asked terrified. The old lady laughed and said.

"Don't you want to give your souls to the mirror as well?" She asked her eyes emotionless too.

"What?" Paul asked facing her.

I did the same thing he did. "I guess it's time to transform!!" I said and Paul nodded.

I raised my hand in the air and yelled, "Water Reflection! Transform!!"
I floated in the air and did graceful twirls, bubbles appeared around me and they popped creating my baby blue underwear. Then I did a back flip and in the midst of the back flip, water ribbons wrapped around my body creating my sapphire blue dress. I held one foot in the air and both of my feet sparkled making my silver high heels appear. A radiant waterfall appeared in the background and two water drops fell on my ears and they slipped down to the earlobes creating two blue dewdrop earrings. I twirled and held out two peace signs in the air.

"I am the Soldier of Water at your service!!"

"Magic Illusion! Transform!!" Paul yelled and raised his hand in the air.

Paul floated in the air and the background changed to a starry night sky he pulled his legs to his chest and an Aurora sparkled brightly creating his black boxers and tight black knee high socks. He held his arms on top of his head and stood straight as black shiny ribbons wrapped around his body creating his wonderful black suit. He stood on tippy toes and made a T with his body as stars flew down to his body and created his black shoes and white gloves. His eyes sparkled as they changed to a radiant blue. He put a hand on his hip and his other hand in his pocket while smirking.

"I am the Soldier of Magic at your service!"

The old lady had fainted and the mirror glowed brightly. A young girl with eyes that looked like mirrors stepped out.

"I'm Maria... And I want your soul." She said pointing the mirror at us and it glowed.

She mumbled something and a light flew at us from the mirror.

"Mirror Reflection!!" Paul yelled and the light bounced back from his huge mirror.

Instead of hitting her however it went back inside her mirror.

"No way..." I said. Paul glared and held out his hands in front of him.

"Scorching..." He started as flame shards appeared in his hands. He held his hands in the air and the shards danced around him.

"Shards!!" He finished and he pointed his hands toward Maria and the shards flew at her.

She stood their calmly and held out her mirror. The shards flew straight into the mirror and she smiled.

"That's impossible!!" I said out loud.

She pointed her creepy mirror at me me.

"Scorching Shards..." She murmured and the shards flew out the mirror and headed straight towards me.

"Emily!" Paul yelled and ran towards me and got in front of me.

The shards dug into his skin leaving him with little deep wounds everywhere.

Small traces of blood slipped down his body and onto the floor.

"Oh my god are you okay?!" I asked worried as I helped him stay standing.

"Fine, but I can barely move, it's all up to you." He said and he sat down on the floor closing his eyes to rest.

"Alright!!" I said completely determined. I faced Maria and she still had that devil smile on her face.

"Aqua Ring Binding!" I yelled and a small tune played as water rings wrapped around Maria and it engulfed her in a globe of water.

The globe of water burst and Maria disintegrated.

Various souls flew out from the mirror and traveled to Ale and Esteban's bodies. They blinked and their eyes returned to normal.

More souls flew to the back room and a lot of people woke up as well.

The mirror went towards Paul and entered his body his wounds healing completely.

"What happened?" Ale and Esteban asked.

"I don't know." Esteban said.

Paul's POV

Cynthia's words echoed in my head.

"Now that the mirror entered your body your mirror reflection has been upgraded to a more powerful version called Mirror Absorb."
