Chapter 25 Halloween Apocalypse Part 1

Paul's POV

"Well... it's actually October 31st!!! Meaning it's Halloween!" I cried joyfully. I started putting up spider webs and different types of ghosts and witches.

"But the best part of Halloween isn't only dressing up and having fun! The best part is... the candy!!!" I said taking out a huge bag full of sweets.

I took out a bowl for my parents so that they could hand out candy to trick or treat maniacs, while we go out and trick or treat ourselves. My relationship with Alonzo is a secret with our families. The only ones who know are... well my friends.

"Babe? Could you help me put up some decorations?" I asked Alonzo as he I saw him walking past my open bedroom door. "Sure." He answered and walked in.

"Thanks, sorry for making you do this, I'm afraid that if I do this alone, I'll probably finish right when Halloween ends." I said as we continued decorating.

"Nah, it's no big deal. Besides I'd never let you do anything alone. Only... on some occasions." He winked. I blushed knowing full well that he meant for that to sound dirty.

Annie and Lucifer walked in. "Mind if we help out." Lucifer asked us. "Not at all, I appreciate your help you two." I said.

"What are you going to dress up as?" Annie asked me. "Mm... it's a surprise." I winked. She smiled and started decorating the lower parts of the wall.

"Whatever the case, you'll look sexy young prince." Lucifer smirked knowing full well that he was mocking Alonzo.

I saw that he was gripping a decoration way too tightly. He was crumbling it up. I gently touched his shoulder and his grip loosened. "It's okay baby daddy, I'm only yours." I whispered in his ear.

"Oh, we ran out of that one orange colored decoration." Annie piped up. "You mean Jack o Lanterns?" I asked. "Yeah! Those things!" She confirmed.

I groaned. "Great, I'm going to have to take a short trip to the store." I said. "Want me to go with you?" Alonzo asked me.

"No, it won't take long anyways. Plus, I have to go tell Alejandra something." I said grabbing my coat. "Alright be careful babe." He told me. "Babe, I'm a prince from another kingdom who has never met his mythical parents, I'll be fine." I said playfully.

He smiled and I walked over to the front door, opened it, and left.

"Thank you so much." I told the cashier. "Your welcome Paul!" She told me. I casually walked outside with the bags in hand. I really don't like the fact how there was so many people shopping here so it was starting to get dark.

"Knowing Alonzo, he's probably worried right now." I thought out loud. I passed by Ale's house on the way and knocked on the front door.

Ale opened it and smiled. "Hey, Paul. what's up?" She asked me. "Come on we're going to go trick or treating. I already texted Emily and Esteban and they're waiting at my house." I said.

"Mom! I'm going to go trick or treating with Paul and the others!" She called out. "Okay honey, be careful and be back before midnight!" She yelled back.

"Okay mom! Bye!" She said and we walked to my house. "Wait, but I don't have a costume." She suddenly realized. "It's okay, I have a plan." I winked.

A couple of minutes later we arrived at my house. "We're here!!!" I called out. One second I was standing there and the next I was being hugged by my boyfriend. "Where the hell were you? You had me worried." He told me.
