Six Flags Adventure

Chapter 22 Six Flags Adventure

                        Paul's POV

"After like 4 hours we are finally here!!" I exclaimed happily.

"I'm pretty sure we are well aware of that!" Emily said staring at the rides.

We were currently at Six Flags because we were on another trip along with the whole 8th grade.

"Come on let's go to the front entrance!" I said running to the front gate.

Pretty soon I heard them running after me.

I turned back and waved at them but I ended up crashing into someone.

The impact made me fall back on my butt.

"I'm very sorry!!" I repeated multiple times and then looked up at the person in shame.

My look of shame turned into one of anger as I saw Alonzo standing there with a humored expression.

I fixed my composure and gracefully walked off but not before stopping and sticking my tongue out at him.

I wasn't paying attention and I tripped on a nearby tree root.

Alonzo smirked and crossed his arms over his chest.

I stood up and dusted myself then stormed off.

As we reached the main entrance we had to do lots of scanning and we also received money to spend.

"It's only a matter of time before Six Flags opens." Alejandra whispered.

"There!" Esteban yelled and we all ran together inside.

"Where do you guys want to go first?" Esteban asked.

"How about Gold Rush?" Emily requested.

"Let's go!!" I said making a fist in the air.

We got on the ride and waited for it to start.

I was sitting next to Emily and behind us was Esteban and Alejandra.

"This ride goes slow." Emily stated.

"Wow, then let's just relax." Alejandra said from behind.

As the ride started we took a quick left turn but it wasn't scary at all.

We went up a hill that was a bit too tall and I started to get worried.

Suddenly the ride went SUPER fast I held on to the railing.

"EMILY!! YOU SAID IT WAS GOING TO GO SLOW!!!" I screamed as we went down in circles.

"ME VOY A MORIR!!!!" Emily yelled.

"TE VOY A MATAR!!" I screamed.

I heard Alejandra and Esteban screaming like in that one show called Scream Queens.
 
Once the ride finished I was gasping for breath.

"Next time you say a ride will go slow... To hell that I'm going to get on." I whispered trying to catch my breath.

Next we went to a ride called Ninja.

"Okay, since there is a little bit of people it means it isn't popular so it means it won't go too fast right?" I said getting in line.

"I will wait here okay? I feel tired." Alejandra said.

"You sure?" I asked.

She nodded.

Emily got on with Esteban and I glared at them.

"Well, I guess leave me by myself." I said.

They looked at me mischievously.

I turned and sat down in front of them which to my luck I ended up sitting next to...

"Hey there's a free seat for you babe." Alonzo told me.

I glared daggers at Emily and Esteban but they looked another way.

I hesitantly sat down next to Alonzo and watched him out of the corner of my eye.

The ride began and we took an immediate right turn.

Okay, just letting you know, this ride... Went fast.

Like 5x faster than the other ride we went on.

I yelled and wrapped my arms around Alonzo's neck.

I thought I was choking him but right now I didn't care.

I wanted to live.

I shut my eyes tight.

Once the ride slowed down and was about to end I sighed and opened my eyes. 

I glanced at Alonzo and blushed fiercely at the fact my arms were still wrapped around his neck.

And also that his arms were wrapped around my waist.

I slowly took my arms around his neck and he did the same.

We both blushed like tomatoes.

We stepped out of the ride and I tapped his shoulder.

"Um... Sorry about what happened." I said looking down in embarrassment.

"It's no trouble." He said winking.

"I actually enjoyed it." He whispered in my ear. 

I got goosebumps as his breath tickled my neck.

I quickly walked off to see Emily and everyone else with a funny face.

"I'll give you 10 seconds to run before I make you lose 300 pounds in one second." I warned.

They ran all the way to a ride called "Apocalypse".

They got on the ride and I saw no available seats. "You guys got lucky this time!" I screamed and they laughed.

I walked away and made sure to stomp every time I took a step. I accidentally bumped into a woman.

"Sorry!" I said politely and continued walking away. "Are you..." I heard her say and I turned around confused.

"Wait, are you speaking to me?" I asked. "Oh! You ARE him!" She said excitedly. A question mark appeared in my head.

"What?" I asked completely lost. "Don't worry, you'll find out sooner or later who I am." She said smiling. She walked off and I stood there puzzled.

"Hey Paul!" I heard a voice say. "Oh! Hi Isis! It's been a while!" I said waving.

"Yeah, and how come you don't talk to me anymore?" She asked me. "Sorry, but I haven't seen you around campus." I said looking at her, feeling bad now.

"Oh, well see you! I still need rides to go on!" She said and ran to a nearby ride. I laughed awkwardly and turned around and yet again bumped into someone else.

"My bad!" I said and looked up to meet their gaze. "We have to stop meeting like this babe." The one and only school hottie said.

Wait... What?! "Well maybe if you payed attention to where you were walking, we wouldn't have to always meet like this!" I said and crossed my arms.

He simply laughed, winked at me, and walked past me. But not before slapping my bottom. "That's it! Boy you better run!" I screamed.
