Chapter 42: Heavenly Hearts. A Will of Love.
Paul's POV
The birds chirped cheerfully and the sunlight rays traveled through the shiny windows. I opened my eyes and rubbed them as I yawned.
I tilted my head to look over at Alonzo and he was sleeping peacefully.
I smiled gently and played with his curly hair. Maybe I shouldn't do this, he could wake up.
I once again wrapped a translucent white blanket around my nude body and made my way downstairs. All of his house was new to me, but I'm pretty sure downstairs is the way to the kitchen.
"Wow, his house is pretty big." I mumbled and the blanket got caught on a loose piece of wood on the wall.
"Please let me go..." I whined trying to pull away the blanket. I was finally able to rip it away and I continued to search for the kitchen.
"Young prince! I've been looking all over for you in this house!" I heard Shelly say from behind me.
"Shelly, what are you doing here?" I asked bending down slightly and holding out an arm to her, using my other hand to keep the blanket from falling.
She climbed on my arm and perched herself onto my shoulder. "Looking for you, I just told you." She joked.
I giggled and smiled brightly. "Young prince, your eyes are shining brighter than the full moon." She noticed.
I continued smiling as I kept looking for the kitchen. "May I ask why your so pretty pink positive?" She told me cautiously.
"Well... Last night... Was my first time." I told her. "First time winning a game of cards?" She asked cluelessly.
"No silly." I laughed finally finding the kitchen. "I mean, as in giving yourself to the one you love." I explained.
Shelly stayed quiet and it made the air grow tense. I was worried, maybe I shouldn't have told her this so soon.
"Young prince... You do know that your barely in junior high right?" She told me.
"Yes, but I was thinking, that since we only have one heart crystal left to find, the final battle won't be long after, and in case something were to happen to us, I wouldn't have any regrets." I explained to her.
"Yes but..." She said cutting herself off. She sighed and used her tiny hands to scratch her ear. "Well... I suppose I'll let it slide this time just because I know your very smart and don't have bad intentions."
"Thanks Shelly." I smiled. "Oh wait, I realized, Starlight is the second wishing star right? And your the first." I asked.
"Yes, but remember that girl? Specula? Her companion is the third wishing star, but she's currently under a spell so she won't be much help at the moment." Shelly explained.
"Is there anyway to reverse the spell?" I asked. "The only way to remove it, is to destroy the one who placed the spell on them in the first place." She told me.
"Alright I got it." I said firmly. There was knocking on the front door and I spun around quickly. "Who is it?" I asked.
"It's me young prince, Ladarius." I heard Ladarius answer. I made sure the blanket was wrapped around me tightly and I went to open the door.
I opened it and he looked confused at my clothing. "I don't think your supposed to wear such revealing outfits." He told me.
"It's not an outfit. It's a blanket." I crossed my arms. "Why aren't you wearing clothes?" He asked me confused.
