The Sacred Promise of the Flower of Eternal Love Part IV

Paul's POV

"Now we need to go to the Mountain of Prosperity and obtain the Flower of Eternal Love." Soldier Kitty informed us.

"You mean... We're going to climb all of that?!" I asked getting dizzy as I looked at the thousands of rocks and plants.

"Affirmative." Soldier Electricity told me.

"Let's start hiking." Soldier Water said and walked on ahead of us.

I sighed and we all followed.

Not even ten steps and I already started to get annoyed of how slow we were going.

At this rate, we'll never get to the top.

"Can we move a bit more faster?" I asked hopefully.

"I think it's best if we do hurry." Soldier Fire said.

We all nodded and instead of walking, we ran.

Halfway up the mountain, it started to get more brighter. It was very weird.

"Just a couple more steps and we will reach the top!" I informed happily.

Once we reached the top a beautiful baby blue crystal flower sparkled in all it's wonderful glory.

"It looks so unreal yet it does look real." Soldier Water said out loud.

I reached out to grasp it or at least touch it, but suddenly it floated in the air and a hand appeared out of nowhere and grasped it.

"What's happening?" Soldier Kitty asked.

The hand glowed and the silhouette of a woman appeared.

"Who are you?" I asked glaring at her.

"I'm the ruler of the Nightmare Realm, you may call me Princess Kaguya." She said.

She held up a hand and it glowed black then she shot a dark beam at us.

We all jumped out of the way and rocks tumbled down the mountain.

My foot lost balance and I fell, I used my Scorching Shards and the flower fell down.

All I remembered was the sound of me falling into someones arms and heavy breathing.

Then I blacked out.

My eyes ever so gently fluttered open and I gazed around. I took in my surroundings and I realized I was in a cave.

I could see the entrance to the cave and a small tranquil waterfall was directly outside.

"Your awake young prince." A boys voice said behind me.

I turned around and I saw a boy similar to Soldier Kitty but his clothes were white instead and he had white dog ears and a silver dog tail.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Pardon my rudeness young prince, I am the soldier of dogs, Soldier Inu!!" He said doing a pose.

"As you can tell I am Soldier Kitty's older brother." He told me.

"Yeah, I figured." I said casually.

"There you are you scoundrel!" Another voice said from outside the cave.

I turned and saw a person similar to Red Devil but instead he was blue.

Two more similar people came out, one was yellow and the other was black.

"We also found the young prince, you are essential in our plans, we must capture you and take you to our mistress." The black one stepped forward.

"Piercing Howl!!" Soldier Inu yelled and blue like sound waves traveled around the whole place causing damage to the enemies.

"Nows our chance to escape!!" I yelled and we ran.

The enemies weren't giving up so easily though. They chased after us and we sped up.

I saw the Mountain of Prosperity and I told Soldier Inu to climb the mountain.

We climbed all the way up and when we reached the top, it was a disaster.

It looked like there was a huge battle. All the soldiers were lying everywhere.

I went to each one of them and woke them up. Luckily none of them were seriously hurt.

I caught a glimpse of a bright light and I slowly walked towards it.

My eyes widened.

It was The Flower of Eternal Love.

I smiled and I stretched my hand out to take hold of it.

Suddenly 4 pairs of hands emerged from the ground beneath me and grabbed me.

It was the masked group.

I yelled in terror as my energy was being stolen. My body grew weaker every second, the soldiers ran to help me but a barrier was put so they couldn't reach me.

My transformation wore off and now I was just an ordinary mortal.

They stopped taking my energy and I breathed deeply. I saw my vision swimming. I wasn't fainting, I was teleporting!

The last thing I heard was the screams of the soldiers and I blacked out once more.

I opened my eyes slowly and immediately shut them back when I saw a bright light.

I tried to move but I found out I was bound to a pillar. I opened my eyes and looked around trying to ignore the bright light.

It wasn't ordinary ropes that kept me from moving, they were golden transparent chains.

"Well, at last you have awakened young prince." A female voice rung through the castle.

Suddenly Princess Kaguya appeared right in front of me.

"What do you want to do with me?" I asked glaring darkly at her.

"It seems you are the only one who can possess the true power of the Sacred Flower." She told me while walking to the throne.

She sat down. "I, however, can also use the power of the flower but not it's full power."

"And I will be using that power to destroy your world."

"My friends will come and save me! So don't think you've won yet!" I yelled trying to move but to no avail.

"Perhaps... But you will make an excellent bait." She murmured smirking evilly.

She stood up and walked over to me and she never removed that terrifying look on her face.

Emily's POV

"I think it's time." I said slowly rising.

"Yes, it's already sunset." Alejandra agreed.

The power of the flower works better at sunset.

"Then let's get started." Esteban said and we placed the flower on the floor and we made a circle around it while holding hands and sitting on our knees.

"Please Sacred Flower... Unleash your wonderful magic to help our prince and save the world!" I yelled into the sky.

The flower glowed and soon we were surrounded with smoke and we vanished into the Nightmare Realm.
