This is my favourite song by Bowie- although Let's Dance is amazing, as well as all his songs.

Rest in Piece David Bowie. You were a great man, a inspiration to all humanity. I miss you, all of us miss you. Ground Control to Major David 💕.

David was a good friend of yours. His gorgeous red hair made your heart pound every time you saw it.

His smile, oh that stunning smile made you practically swoon.

David was a humble, amazing man.

You entered your apartment to see him laying down on the floor, slender legs up in the air crossed.

He rested his face in his hands, staring down at the calico-cat with his head tilted "Mr.Bubbles- Don't look at me like that, you know I couldn't afford your cat nip. I'm sorry- don't be too upset." He sighed and spoke softly.

You smiled at the sight and let a laugh slip "Hi, David."

Your floofy-red headed friend snapped his attention towards you.

He smiled brightly and stood embracing you in a gentle hug "[Y/N], you're back. I thought you left me here forever!" He exclaimed.

You sighed contently and laughed a little "No, I would never!"

He cocked his head to the side and let his smile grow wider "That's good to know. I don't know how'd I'd be able to live without my best friend."

You blushed a bit, smiling at the floor.

David was your best friend- you've known each other since the third grade.

He'd always talked about how he wanted to be a singer- make people happy with his music.

"How's your new song coming along?" You inquired softly, sitting down on the couch with your head titled.

David's face fell- "ah, the song...erm, it's coming along great! Just- not at a fast pace." He blushed and sigh a bit.

"Awe, David that's alright. Inspiration doesn't just happen instantly. Sometimes, it takes time." You spoke kindly.

David considered your advice and nodded slowly "That is absolutely true, perhaps I should take a break? I have been worker rather hard. I have quite the headache!" He sighed and laughed softly, plopping down beside you.

You watched him with delight, smiling after him. "Of course, I believe a break would help your train of thought, especially when you're not feeling too hot."

David glanced towards you and smiles cheekily "Love, I am always hot." He joked and shook his head, "I apologize, that was only  a joke." He blushed.

You laughed a little and ruffled his hair "Who says?"

He gasped slightly and playfully pushed you "[Y/N]!" He laughed.

You blushed and smiled, giggling softly "Oh come on, David. I was only messing with you." You hugged him briefly.

Purring happily, he hugged you back, cuddling you gently. David liked hugs, he liked them a lot.

"I know, how about I run to the market and buy a bottle of wine? We can watch films until our hearts spontaneously combust." He smiled cheekily.

You laughed at his remark "Sounds lovely." You smiled.

David's eyes lit up with happiness as you spoke "Fantastic! I shall return shortly, don't run off now." He laughed a little heading for the door- grabbing his coat.
