Promises

Chapter 4

LINKS POV
I walked to the brawl room in silence enjoying the peace and quiet that was so hard to find around here. Just as I had thought that, I heard a yelp. I turned sharply on my heel and walked to the noise.
I stopped in my tracks. Ike was holding Pit up by his shirt collar and looked extremely pissed off. I ran up to them screaming, "Hey! Put down Pitto!"
When Ike faced me, his face was red-hot in embarrassment. He dropped Pit on the ground.
"Thanks man!" Pit said gratefully.
When I turned to look at Ike, his face had gone pale and he hit the ground. Oh my god, did he just faint? I thought.
I ran over to him and checked to see if he was breathing. I sighed in relief that he was OK and that we were close to our room.
Pit and I picked hauled Ike to my room and sat him down on his bed. Soon after, Pitto left saying something about how Palutena needed him.
I sat on the edge of Ike's bed. I decided to put a blanket over him, but quickly took it off after feeling how hot his forehead was.
He started to wake up, and grabbed my arm, pushing me on top of him. I tried to get free, but he was stronger than me and now fully awake.
"Ike, uh can you let me go?" I said, my voice sounded meek and timid.
"I don't know, can I? I can for sure, but the thing is I don't want to Link."
I gulped audibly.
Ike leaned in to me, and touched his lips with my own.

3rd person pov
A light blush spread upon Link's cheeks. This was the first time he had ever been kissed. Ike had enjoyed the kiss as much as Link had and leaned in again for more. Link turned a darker pink that almost made him look red. Ike pulled away from the kiss and kissed Link's cheeks.
"You're like a little tomato Link!" Said Ike.
Link turned away and looked down.
"I-I don't. I-I'm not a tomato, and I don't like you like that!" Link said with his head hung in shame.
"Then why did you kiss back?" Ike responded.
Link froze at those words and the pair of arms that were snaking around his waist. I know you love me sweetie.
