If lumabas ba 'ko, makikita ko si Trite na in-interrogate ni Dad?

I've never feared like this in my life!

Tinawagan ko si Trite. I heard buzzing sa kama. His phone's left here?!?!

Naiwan nya ba? O nandito pa rin sya at babalikan nya 'to? Nasaan sya?!

Bumangon ako sa kama at binuksan ang bathroom ko. Wala.

Where is he? At pa'no 'tong phone nya?

I looked at his lock screen and it was my picture sleeping. Awww. Pero 'pag nakita 'to ni Dad at makitang ako ang lock screen, he'll ask whose phone this is.

But it's freaking vibrating. The buzzing can be heard. Pa'no 'ko matatanggal 'to?

Where is he? Shall I call their house? But if I do that, Dad would know.

Lumipad ako sa gulat nang may kumatok. Who could this be?

It could be Dad so I hesitated or it could be Trite so I was determined to open it immediately.

I opened the door and it was Mommy. "My?" tanong ko.

"Can I come in?" she asked.

"Ah, sure po," I said. I looked around my room trying to see if may clue na a boy was here.

Mom looked at me knowingly with pursed lips.

"Mommy?" I asked.

"A boy was here."

Patay na. "Po?" Madedeny ko ba 'to?

"You're my clever daughter. Much more clever than Toni will ever be. Tell me what's happening with you."

Napalunok ako. Is she Dad's spy?

"Hindi makakarating sa Dad mo. I promise," sabi nya.

"Uh..." Sasabihin ko ba? What will I tell her?

"Boyfriend mo ba si Trite? Yung nandito sa kwarto mo kagabi?" diretso nyang tanong. She wasn't happy.

So buko. Shet. "Opo," mahina kong bulong at yuko.

She weakly smiled. "Buti. Kasi kung hindi, may creep na lumabas sa kwarto mo kagabi na pinatakas ko. Akala ko magnanakaw. Buti naniwala ako sa kanya at hindi 'ko tinawag ang Dad nyo."

Hindi ako makapag-salita. Nahihiya ako kay Mommy kasi.

"This is not good Gayle. And I don't condone this. He said it was the first time he came in here. Is it?"

I nodded but my head's still bowed down.

"I told him that it will be the last," patuloy nya. "I almost had a mini-heart attack when he walked out wearing your clothes. Akala ko pa mga guards na watching you girls sleep."

"Sorry Mommy. And yes Mommy it will be the last. Hindi ko naman po talaga sya inaasahan dito. I was surprised he went here. I'm really sorry po. And nothing naughty happened Mommy! I swear," I quickly said.

Mataman nya 'kong tiningnan. "Good. And I believe you. Not in this house na baka ika-atake pa ng Dad mo sa puso. That should never happen again, okay? That was risky, irresponsible."

"Yes Mom. I really didn't ask him to be here, I swear."

"I want to see Trite again Gayle. He said gusto nyang manligaw. Ang nakakatawa sa inyo kayo na pero manliligaw pa sya. I guess he meant sa Dad mo."

"Mommy pinsan nya po si Sach. I didn't know po na ganun bago naging kami," I shared.

"Oh. I didn't know that. And your Dad likes Sach for you. Hmmm." Napaisip sya.
