Lucy's POV

I walked through the portal, and felt a strange heatwave flood over me. As quickly as it came, the warmth left my body, and took with it every drop of heat that I had.  The portal dropped me, shivering, in the town of Magnolia. As I walked towards the closest magic shop, I stopped in the sunlight to warm up.

This is nice. One of the things I missed about Magnolia, was the warm summer rays of sunshine. I better change my appearance in case someone sees me though.

I stepped behind a tree and pulled out an amulet that Oceanum had given me. As I placed the silver chain around my neck, a tingling sensation filled my body. When it finally stopped, I walked over to the river. In my reflection I saw that my hair had turned black and my eyes were now green. My black cloak hid any other features that had been visible before. As I turned to walk back to the magic shop, the red gem around my neck caught my eye.

I only have a few hours before the amulet's spell wears off. I better hurry.

I entered the magic shop and immediately regretted it. Standing inside, was Gray.

No! What is he doing here? It's okay just breath. He won't recognize you in your disguise. Calm down.

I went to the back of the shop and found the first few items with ease. Within no time, I had gotten all but one item on the list.

"...Pick up some gate keys for yourself if you find any. They will be important for your celestial training."

I sighed and walked to the front of the shop where Gray was standing.

Please don't recognize me. Please don't recognize me.

"Can I help you find something Miss?" The shopkeeper said, interrupting my silent praying.

"Do you have any gate keys?" I asked, hoping Gray wouldn't recognize my voice.

"Let me go take a look." The shopkeeper replied.

"Haven't heard of anyone looking for gate keys in a while. You're a celestial wizard right?" Gray asked.

I just nodded my head, trying to look away. He eyed me carefully.

"Do I know you from somewhere?" He asked.

No! He figured it out!

I started to open my mouth when the shop keeper came back.

"Your in luck! I have Pisces and Libra. A girl with white hair came in and sold these to me two days ago. Would you like them?" The shopkeeper asked.

I nodded, thankful for the intervention. The shopkeeper continued to ring up the rest of my items while Gray continued to watch me out of the corner of his eye.

"That will be 165,348 jewel!" The shopkeeper exclaimed.

I knew the total was overpriced, but I decided to fork over the jewel and get out of there as fast as possible. I reached into the enchanted pouch Oceanum had also given me. It connected directly to the Royal Treasury back in the Realm of Dragons. I grabbed a giant handful of jewel and slammed it on the counter. I then grabbed my bags and walked away as fast as I could.

"Miss! You over payed! By a lot!" I heard the shopkeeper call out.

"Keep the change!" I yelled over my shoulder, as I ran out the door into an alley way.

That was a lot harder that I thought it would be. It's alright he didn't recognize you. Calm down.

I took a deep breath and made sure no one was watching. Leaving the alley way, I headed down the street.

Now to head back home.
