Griffon's POV
I made my way to the dinning hall, and was amazed at the spread. There was so much food on the table, that the dinner plates could hardly fit along side it all. Everything from roasted pig, to exotic fruit, to pastries and breads, were laid out, waiting to be devoured. I had never seen the cooks whip up this much food. As the girls entered the dinning hall, I took my seat.
Oceanum, Ignis, Stellae, and Ms. Tempestatis were all talking in a cheery manner as they took their seats at the table. The girl in black however remained quite.
For the majority of dinner, we munched on the feast and made small talk. No surprise however, the girl in black remained quite.
"So how long will you be staying with us, Stormy?" Ignis said.
I raised an eyebrow.
"I told you Ignis. When I'm with my pupil, it's Ms. Tempestatis."
"My apologies." Ignis replied
"I'm hoping to stay a week with my apprentice, however I believe she will be staying longer. I can not teach her anything more, and she has some unfinished business in the Realm of Humans. Seeing as you have the only working portal to the despicable place, I think it would be best for her to take up residence here." Ms. Tempestatis explained.
"That sounds like an excellent plan. After dinner Oceanum can escort you to your rooms." Stellae said.
"Which room would you like me to take them to?" Oceanum asked.
"They will probably wish for separate rooms, so take Ms. Tempestatis to guest room one, and take her student to the Princess' chambers." Stellae instructed.
I wasn't sure what over came me but I felt my blood begin to boil.
That's Lucy's room. You can't just give it to someone else!
"Please excuse me." I left before anyone could say anything. I was so mad I wasn't sure what I'd do.
I ran outside as fast as I could, and before long, I had made it to the secret garden Lucy had shown me.
Why are they doing this?! They're acting like she's not coming back! Why would they-
"Griffon come back inside." The mysterious voice said.
Who are you?
"You will find out soon enough. Come back to the castle. I'll meet you in your room." The voice said.
I ended up giving into the voice and went back inside. As I rounded the corner, I saw the girl in black, entering Lucy's room.
She must have seen me, because as I pasted, I saw her lips, curl up into a smile.
