Lucy's POV
"You see Princess..."
Why did she keep calling me that?
"... We are all dragons."
"YOU'RE WHAT?! But that makes no sense! All of the dragons went missing in the year 777! You're human. You're standing right in front of me!" I yelled, completely shocked.
"In the year 777, a threat was made against our Queen, and we had to return to our home to protect her. We appear human right now because that is the form we have chosen to be in your presence." Oceanum explained.
"Your late mother, Layla, was the Queen of Dragons. You being her daughter means that you are our princess, and when you become of age, you shall take here place as Queen."
"My mother was, a queen? She never mentioned it." I said, looking at my palms.
"I'm sure it was only to protect you." Ignis said.
"Protect me from what?"
"Many lust for power in this world. The people after your mother's crown were no exception. She didn't want to put you in harms way." Said Stellae.
"Okay... I'm the daughter of the Queen of Dragons, which makes me a princess, and you three are the dragons who are supposed to train me?" I asked
"Yes Princess Lucy" they said in unison.
"Alright... But you still haven't told me where I am or how I got here."
"On your job, you defeated the monsters but were severely drained on magical energy. You passed out so we took you here." Ignis explained.
"Your in the Royal Palace in the Realm
of Dragons. Your guild mates will not be able to find you here. They won't come looking for you either. We have created a clone of your body, however we have altered it to seem injured and lifeless." Stellae continued.
"Wait, so they think I'm dead?"
"Yes Princess, will that be a problem?" Ignis asked.
"No. No I'm just surprised that's all. It's actually kind of a relief." I said, feeling the tears begin to fill my eyes.
"Don't worry Princess, you will never have to go back there." Oceanum cooed, trying to comfort me.
I instantly stopped crying at the thought of never going back. For some reason, it made me angry.
"No..." I could see their eyes fill with surprise and confusion.
"I will go back. And when I do, I will get my revenge." I spat.
Slowly, they began to grin.
"You have your mother's fire, Princess." said Ignis.
I smiled at the thought of following in my mother's foot steps.
"So, what are you going to be training me for exactly?" I said, suddenly realizing that I had left out a very important question.
"Get dressed and meet us out side. We will tell you then, Princess." said Stellae.
"Alright if you say so..." I said, still worried.
With a final goodbye, they left me alone in my room to prepare.
