Griffon's POV

After dinner, Lucy and I went outside for a walk. It was a warm night, so I wore a plain white tee-shirt and a pair of jeans. Lucy had on a pink, floral sundress. She was walking barefoot and she had let her golden hair down. I walked a little ways behind her, admiring her beauty. Her long hair reached just below her butt, allowing the setting sun's last rays to dance a long it. Her cute pink dress hugged her perfectly and complemented her natural curves. As she turned around to make sure I was following, I caught a glimpse of her warm, kind, chocolatey eyes.

She's so beautiful.

Lucy began to chuckle.

"What's so funny?" I asked.

Do I have something on my face?

"Griffon you do know that Stellae has been teaching me to read minds right?" She asked, with a playful glint in her eyes.

I could feel myself turn bright red.

"Don't worry, there's nothing on your face." She said, winking.

I felt myself turn a darker shade of crimson. Much to my surprise, Lucy grabbed my hand and started to pull me.

"Come on!" She whispered.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"You'll see." She chuckled, before breaking off in a run.

We ran until we reached the back of the castle. Lucy continued to walk toward the tree line, and led me through a small arboretum, which I had never notice before. The small tunnel covered with vines, soon opened up into a large circular room like structure. Ivy coated the the entire area. I would have thought of it like a large, plant in-cased igloo, however the top of the dome was completely open, revealing the night sky. It was breath taking. As I looked around some more, I realized that we were in a small garden. Flowers of all shapes, sizes, and colors surrounded us, glowing as if they were enchanted. On the far end of the garden, there was a small waterfall, and next to it, a stone bench. Lucy pulled me toward the bench and motioned for me to sit down. As we sat next to each other, we looked at the stars and began to chat.

"Hey Lucy?"

"What is it Griffon?"

"How do you know Gray?

I herd her let out a small sigh.

"We met each other in Fairy Tail." She said.

"Did you quit?"

"Sort of."

She explained to me how the guild had treated her poorly, and why she left. She also explained that her plan was to complete her training, and take revenge on the guild.

"Lucy I've made a decision." I said.

She looked at me confused.

"I'm gonna help you take your revenge." I announced.

She shook her head.

"Griffon I can't let you do that."

"Why not?"

"In this world, you have to pick and choose your battles. This isn't your fight." She said.

"To bad."

I saw that I had surprised her.

"Lucy, you saved my life. And..."

And I like you a lot...

"And I'm gonna stick with you!" I said.

She smiled.

"Alright fine. And Griffon?"

"Hm?"

"I like you too." She whispered, blushing.

"WAIT HOW DID YOU! BUT I NEVER! AND I! HUH???" I yelled

"I told you earlier. I can read your mind." She chuckled.

I felt myself blush and mentally face palmed myself.

"Let's go back inside. It's getting chilly out here." I said noticing her shiver.

I hate the cold too.

She giggled and nodded.

"You read my mind again didn't you?!"

She just laughed some more and grabbed my hand. We stood up and ran back to the castle.

We said our good byes in the hallway and we both went to bed.

I hope tomorrow will be as great as today was.
