Griffon's POV
I woke up with more energy than usual.
No nightmares? That hasn't happened in two years. Maybe it's because she's back.
I completed my morning routine quickly, dressing in my black training gear. I still wasn't sure what the small sheath on my belt was for, but it had been included with the outfit since day one, so I always wore it.
As I entered the dinning hall, I was surprised to find it empty.
Where is everyone?
There was minimal serving staff and the three Royal Advisors were nowhere to be seen. I quickly ate a blueberry muffin and headed outside.
The sun hit my face as I exited the castle. In the two years I had been here, it hadn't rain once. Somehow, everything stayed alive and never once showed any signs of drought.
I walked towards the training arena and finally figured out what was wrong.
Everything was dead silent. There were no birds chirping or insects buzzing. Even the dragons were gone. Not one could be seen.
What is going on this morning?!
I walked into the training arena and found my answer.
