Lucy' POV
As I exited the crystal castle, the sunlight blinded me. My eyes adjusted to the brightness, and I felt my face distort in shock as I saw the scene I front of me unfold. I blinked a few times to make sure it was real. All around me were dragons. Some flew through the sky, some walked on the ground, and some were even napping under the shade of a very large tree. I also noticed that there were many islands, floating in the aqua colored ocean. Some were large while others were smaller, and some were farther away than others. The truly impressive part however, was the different biomes they all had. One was covered in what seemed to be endless hills of rolling, shifting sand. Another was covered in large volcanoes, spewing hot magma onto the blackened surface. One even had snowy mountains sticking up like jagged teeth that you would find inside a monster's head. As I continued to survey my surroundings, I was surprised to see three dragons, slightly more familiar than the rest, lined up facing me. The leftmost one had aqua scales and bright pink eyes. The one on the right had reddish orange scales and golden eyes. The one in the middle however, caught my attention the most. It was a deep purple and its eyes were black orbs, studying my every move. The three dragons approached me.
"Hello again, Princess." The red one said.
"Do I know you?" I asked, very confused.
"Don't tell me you have already forgotten us Princess?" Sighed the aqua one.
"I'm sorry?" I offered
"You don't recognize us do you, Princess?" The purple one asked.
I feel like I know these three from somewhere, but I've never met a dragon before. I can't possibly know them.
"It's alright. We are the three girls you met in your chambers." Finished the purple one.
"Wait... WHAAATTT?!?! But your! And they were! HUUUUHHH?!?!"
"We told you we were dragons, didn't we?" The red one said, chuckling.
"These are our true forms." Said the aqua one.
I guess they weren't kidding. It's just so hard to believe that I'm here now. That this is actually happening.
"So you must be Oceanum..." I said pointing to the aqua dragon.
"...you must be Ignis..." I said, pointing to the red one.
"...and you must be Stellae!" I said, pointing to the purple dragon.
They all nodded in unison.
"So um... My training?" I started, the feeling of worry returning.
"Ah, yes. We will be teaching you new techniques with your whip, as well as several types of dragon slaying magic. Once you have mastered dragon slaying magic, you will learn god slaying magic.
You will also master celestial spirit magic and martial arts, as well as a few other useful spells and enchantments. It will be a long and difficult path, but we have faith in you." Explained Stellae.I gulped. Images stared to flash in my mind, as if to remind me why I needed to do this.
My friends. The guild. Natsu.
"I can do it!" I yelled
"Glad to here it, Princess." Stellae said, smiling.
"So what do you think of your new home?" Asked Oceanum, changing the subject.
"It's amazing!" I replied, looking around.
Dragons of all sizes and colors flew between the islands. It was the most amazing thing I had ever seen.
"We are glad you like it." Said Ignis.
"Are you ready to start your training, Princess?" Asked Stellae.
"On one condition..." I said, narrowing my eyes.
I could see the surprise spread across their faces.
"You will no longer call me Princess. It's to formal and I can't have my new friends calling me Princess all the time." I said sticking out my tongue and making a peace sign with my fingers. They smiled a dragony grin and nodded.
"Alright! Let's begin!"
