Lucy's POV
Five weeks have past since we brought Griffon to the Realm of Dragons. Oceanum informed me today that Griffon is ready to begin training, now that he is healthy enough.
I walked down the hall to see if Griffon was ready. When I reached his door I knocked, and received no answer. After knocking twice more and coming up with the same result. I entered his room.
"Are you kidding me!" I screamed.
There, in his bed, Griffon lied, asleep.
"Get your butt out of bed! We were supposed to start training an hour ago!" I yelled.
"Whatdoyoumeanlucyitsstillearly..." He slurred, still half asleep.
"It's ten o'clock in the morning! You missed breakfast and we're late for training! Do you know what Ignis does to late pupils?" I said with a devilish smile on my face.
Griffon shot up and ran into the bathroom. I heard the shower turn on and moments later, he began to shout.
"cold, cold, COLD, COLD!"
"Heh. Serves him right."
He may be a tiny bit upset when he realizes is only eight... Oh well.
I summoned Virgo and asked her to bring a set of training clothes for Griffon. Within minutes, she had brought back clothing, made from the same material as mine. The black, glossy tee shirt Virgo had returned with, was adorned with a ring of large zodiac symbols in the center, and it was accompanied by a pair of black pants. There was also a belt with a small sheath. It was too small for a sword or a katana, but it was just right for a dagger.
I guess that will be perfect for the gift I got him.
I heard the shower turn back off.
"Virgo, please bring Griffon's new clothes to him." I said.
"Right away Princess." She replied.
As Virgo entered the bathroom, I heard Griffon start to freak out.
"W-who are y-you!? W-what are y-you doing!? H-hey leave me a-alone!" He yelled.
A few loud crashing noises and muffled arguing could be heard from behind the closed door.
When Virgo reemerged, she dragged Griffon behind her, fully clothed.
"Virgo, I just asked you to bring him his clothes, not dress him." I said, amused.
"Was that wrong Princess? Will you punish me?" Virgo asked, with a little to much excitement in her eyes.
"No Virgo. Thank you for your help."
I bowed before sending her back to the celestial world.
"You ready to go get some breakfast? I'm starving!" I said.
"I thought we missed breakfast!?" Griffon asked, eyeing me suspiciously.
"Nope. I was just messing wth you. It was actually only eight when I woke you." I said, sticking my tongue out and smiling.
Griffon's jaw hit the floor. I laughed as he chased me to the breakfast room. While we ate, Griffon and I spoke about the kind of magic he used. Unlike his brother Gray, Griffon hatted the cold. He told me that instead of ice, he used water.
"So, is that why you never strip?" I asked.
Griffon laughed before answering. "Well, I never trained with Ur, so I guess I never developed the habit."
"That's actually kind of a relief." I said.
"So, are you ready to start your training?" I asked.
"You bet."
