Chapter 39

"Opo, marami pong kailangang tapusin ngayon,"

Napatango-tango si Tita Yoli. She's only wearing her night clothes so I guess, she's going to take this day off.

"Okay, then. I'll just bother you next time," saad niya at humalik na sa aking pisngi.

Ngumiti ako at tuluyan nang nagpaalam sa kanya. I drive the Subaru by myself. Matilda was on the lounge everyday to fetch me.

"You can go now," saad ko kay Matilda.

I review all the documents and the upcoming proposals. For the past months, Silva is doing better. Our company grew a huge connections with other big companies in business industry even within the short period of time. Renovation and innovation were perfectly done.

I closed the last envelope I'll review for today. I put my pen down.

It's been a month since the accident happened. It's been a month since the rescuer stopped the search for the other passengers of the ferry. It's been a month since I left Batangas.

Wala pa rin kaming balita kay Seo. I concluded it, that he can't really remember anything from his past that's why he don't know how to go back and where he will go back.

Maybe he's temporarily living somewhere near the island using another name now given by the people who helped him.

They said that someone who suffers from a traumatic head injury that causes an amnesia shouldn't be force to remember. It will trigger their memories and if unluckily, there will be a chance that it will not come back anymore. The professionals said that they should retrieve their memories little by litte and it takes time.

It takes time but I am always willing to wait until the right time comes.

But I wanted to see him, even he can't remember me. I just wanted to know if he's okay. I badly wanted to see him because I missed him so much.

"How's the exporting?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"Everything is on fine, Miss President," saad niya. Tumango ako at inatasan na siyang lumabas.

I review tons of documents again before I call this day.

The long day was finally over. I'll sleep and then repeat the routine. That's how my life goes for the past month.

The extra hardwork is a must for the approaching foundation day of the company.

I took a shower and put on my typical office attire. A black turtle neck top, a white blazer and a white slacks. Itinali ko ang buhok kong nakalugay. I let my curls sway on a ponytail hair-do. After putting a light make up ay umalis na ako at tuluyan nang nagdrive paalis ng bahay.
