Chapter 37: Astrid is captured!!!

Hiccup Pov

We were all standing and the look outs where the Night Terrors are. We were all waiting for Snotloud to come, which he is not here.

"Ugh, where's Snotloud?!?! We have been waiting for him for 18 minutes already. Hiccup, how come we can't just go without him?" Astrid asked, looking at me. Before I even answered, I saw in the corner of my eye Snotloud FLYING!?!??

He fell down in the tail of StormFly, with full force, making Astrid get out of her saddle and went 8 feet in the air. I spread my arms wide so I'm able to catch her. As she fell in my arms, grabbing my neck for supporting, we looked in each other's eyes. Those baby blue eyes, it's like looking at the beauty of the ocean. I blushed and put her down carefully.

"UGH!!! SNOTLOUD!!!! YOU COULD OF KILLED ME!!!!" Astrid yelled. I put my hand on her shoulders to calm down.

"It's not my fault. It's Hookfang!!! Something is wrong with him." Snotloud said in concern. I walked up to him.

"Okay, okay. First, HOW IN THOR YOU WHERE IN THE SKY!?!?" I yelled.

"It's HOOKFANG!!!!! He threw me and he went towards a completely different direction." Snotloud said.

"Okay, okay. Where is he?" I asked. Snotloud pointed over where the club house.

"He went due to North." He said.

"Alright, practice is cancelled. We need to figure out what's wrong with Hookfang." I said. Everyone agrees and we went to look for Hookfang.

Astrid Pov

We found Hookfang, and he was growling at a cave. Still we haven't figured out why.

"Alright, Hookfang. How about we forget about all this madness and let's go home." Snotloud asked.

He ignored his rider and used his snout to bring Snotloud 6 feet in the air. Making Snotloud land in his saddle. Snotloud looked at Hookfang confused. Hookfang keeps growls at the cave.

"Alright that it, Toothless and I will check was in the cave. You guys stay here in guard." Hiccup said. I nodded in agreement and look at Hiccup and Toothless as they walk in the cave. All of the sudden I felt something wrong is going to happen.

"Uhhhh, Hiccup?" I said. I heard a faint roar from Toothless.

"Did anyone heard that." Fishlegs asked. Then I saw a huge purple light shined.

I painted as I saw Hiccup and Toothless came out running.

"It's an ambush!!!!!" Hiccup yelled. Toothless runs in front of me and shot a plasma blast towards the Dragon Hunters.

I started to flew up in the air and told StormFly to do a spine shot. The rest of the gang started to attack. Hiccup flew around me and shot the Dragon Hunters twice. Hookfang shot the Dragon Hunters but they used a shield. The shot us arrows at us, while we tried to doge all of them. Then one arrow shot me in the arm.

Third Pov

And arrow has shot Astrid in the arm. She groaned in pain, Hiccup noticed and he flew to her.

"Astrid! Uhhhh, are you okay?" He said in concerned, Astrid shook her head like saying no.

Hiccup was about to tell her something until she pushed her out of the way, as Toothless plasma blast 4 arrows. The soldiers were pushing the gang back to the sea. As the gang got there, they thought it was a good time to retreat. But they thought wrong. As they flew in retreat they meant up Ryker, with his big ship. He order his men to shoot the gang down, as the men did as they were told. The gang try to figure a way to escape but there was no way. They dogged all the arrows, as Astrid command StormFly to do a spine shot. Ryker thought it was good time to attack. He got one bow and arrow and shot StormFly in the belly. StormFly went out of control, trying to fly, but the arrow affected her flying as StormFly and Astrid fall down like a dying bird. Hiccup saw and he commanded Toothless to dive, as Toothless dive as fast he could.

"Give me your hand." Hiccup reached towards Astrid. She reached her hand, she was bout to grabbed his. Until a chain was shot out from Ryker ship, grabbing StormFly, their hands missed as the chain pulling StormFly and Astrid towards the ship.

"NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Hiccup yelled, as he make Toothless go towards Astrid, but the soldiers shot arrows at them. Hiccup has no choice but to retreat.

He started to flew backwards as he told the gang to retreat. They flew back towards Dragon's Edge. Hiccup took a glance as he sees Ryker ship going towards an other direction. Hiccup signed as he couldn't save Astrid. He looked at the gang as their heads were down, looking as it was their fault. They all thought it was their fault.

Back towards Ryker ship, he had Astrid tied up, as she tried to get free but the ropes were tied really tight.

"I knew that scrawny little Hiccup couldn't pass through our forces. Now we have his weakness, now he HAD to give the Dragon Eye back to see you alive." Ryker said, as he chuckles softly.

He walked up to Astrid as he placed a hand on her chin. She moved her head away, making his hand go out from her face. He grabbed his chin with force as he made her to look at him.

"Oh, we are going to have fun on what we are going to do at you." He said, as he pulled his hand away form he chin. Astrid looked in discussed. (I hope I spelled that right)

Back in Dragon's Edge, Hiccup was paced back and forth. Worrying in what's going to happen to Astrid.

"Hiccup, calm down. We'll find a way to get her back." Fishlegs said, calming him down.

"And what if we not." He said in a serious and worried tone, but mostly serious.

Fishlegs looked at him as he thought to respond that. Hiccup signed as he sat down, putting his elbows on his knees and his hand over his head.

"Ugh, it's all my fault. If I hadn't block that arrow, she would of been here." Hiccup complaining about himself.

"It's not your fault." Fishlegs said.

"It's is." He said. Fishlegs stepped back. Hiccup groans as he dropped his head down, with his hands over his head. What am I going do without you, Astrid. He thought.

Yes I know, I'm such a bastard. Now all of you guys now hate me. I know but it's was interesting. And yes Hiccup will save her. But not just yet, let's see how his life with Astrid. I just updated, this time a but faster. You guys noticed. I bet after this chapter is uploaded I bet I am starting to do the other chapter in my other book.
