Chapter 48: Arrows

~Astrid Pov~

As I was dodging all the arrows that has been attacking me, it's just a normal battle with the Dragon Hunters. I saw a net coming towards me, then I told StormFly to twirl.

StormFly and I dogged not only the net, but a few dozen arrows. StormFly did a spine shot, hitting some of the men. I saw Hiccup in one of the ships, I flew down and waved at him. He waved back as I few towards to twins, and Snotloud.

Both of the idiots were fighting on one of the dragons. I rolled my eyes on how dumb are they.

"Let's go, girl." I told to StormFly as she did another spine shot, breaking the lock on the cage. Letting dragon go in freedom. Then I flew off.

As I was in the air, I noticed that Fishlegs got caught in one of the chains. I flew towards him, and tried to help him. Then I noticed one of the men, shot arrows towards StormFly.

I panicked, thinking StormFly is going to get caught like last time. I kicked one of the arrows away, but I didn't got anytime to block the other arrow. Then the arrow hit me in my leg.

"AARRRGGHH!!" I yelled as I took out the arrow and threw it away. I put my hand to stop the bleeding, also not letting Hiccup noticed.

I knew I could help Fishlegs, but my leg started to hurt a lot. I flew next to Heather as she looked at me in the leg, then at me.

"Please don't tell Hiccup." I told her as she shook her head.

"He's going to notice anyway." Heather told me as facepalmed.

"Just don't tell him, please." I asked her as she signed.

"Fine." She said as I smiled.

Fishlegs came, with chain stuck in Meatlug's leg. Hiccup came behind him, I try to act normal. I look at my leg and it's still bleeding. I clenched my hand to stop the bleeding.

StormFly looked at me with worry in her eyes.

"It's okay girl, I'm fine." I said as I smiled.

We arrived at Dragon's Edge, as everyone went to the dome. But Heather and I went on a different route, and went to my hut. Since Heather lives with me until we build her hut.

She helped me to get off StromFly and took me in my room.

"Okay...where's your medical supplies?" Heather asked as I interrupted her.

"No! That's' going to make it obvious. I just need to clean off the blood and put some new leggings." I said as Heather raised an eyebrow.

"Please...for me." I begged as Heather gave in.

"Fine. Where you put your leggings?" She asked.

"There. The second one in the right." I said as I pointed at one of my cabinets.

Heather walked towards it and got one of my leggings. Then went to get some napkins with water in it.

After a few minutes the blood is cleaned off and I wore new leggings. I tried to walked until I fell, but Heather got me before I even touch the ground.

I chuckled nervously as she shook her head.🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

I hoped off from Toothless, and walk towards Meatlug and Fishlegs.

"How's Meatlug?" I asked as Fishlegs sign.

"Well, she sprained her wing but she's fine. She'll recover in a few weeks." Fishlegs replied as I smiled.

Then I saw Heather and Astrid. But Heather was holding Astrid's hand while Astrid was limping.
