Chapter 69: Snow Racing

~Third Pov~

Hiccup was doing some finishing touches on Toothless's new tail. He lifted the tail, opening and closing it. Then he walked over to Toothless, who was sleep through out the whole day. 

"Look, bud, this tail would help us dodge those arrows from the hunters. We will be quick and they will never hit us." Hiccup said as he placed the tail on.

Toothless looked at his tail, which was black and had a picture of a blue Night Fury.

"I know it's not a good design but that's all I have left. Unless you want take a long trip to Berk and back." Hiccup said, placed a hand in his hip.

Toothless grumbled as he lay his hand on the floor, covering his face with his tail fin. Hiccup chuckled as he put his tools away. Then Fishlegs burst through the door.

"Hiccup!" Fishlegs yelled, making Hiccup dropping on of his tools.

"Ah Fishlegs! What happened?" Hiccup asked.

"It's the twins, they're on Snow-capped Peek."

"Oh what they're doing now."

"They are racing on the snow, yelling on the top of their lungs. If they continue, they'll cause a-"

"Avalanche. Let's go Fishlegs." Hiccup said as he mounted on Toothless.

As they reached to Snow-capped Peak, they saw twins singing on the top of their lungs.

"And I got my Macey, and I got my chicken, and I got sister with a ugly face and I'm a viking through and through!" Tuffnut sang, well... Mostly yelled.

Toothless shook his head, trying to get rid of the horrible sound that Tuffnut was making. MeatLug as well as Hiccup and Fishlegs were covering their ears. Then an rumble was heard, Tuffnut got quiet and looked behind him, seeing chunks of snow came rushing down.

Ruffnut noticed was happening and try to get Barf and Blech up in the air. While Ruff was trying her best, Tuff was looking at the snow. Hiccup dove down and grabbed the Barf and Blech tail. Toothless tried to go higher but they're were heavier then they look. MeatLug came and helped. The dragon looked at each and spread its wings.

The Barf and Blech flew in the air. Hiccup and Toothless were the at edge of the cliff, Hiccup looked behind him, seeing snow coming towards him. He couldn't react but Toothless did and dove down. Toothless noticed were he is going and stopped. Hiccup looked chunks of snow falling above him.

"Alright, bud. Let's try out this new tail." Hiccup said as they dodged a few boulders of snow.

Hiccup took his chance to flew higher ground as he went thought a hole between the snow. After the avalanche was finished they landed on the snow.

The twins looked at each other and tried to walk away.

"Toothless." Hiccup said sternly as Toothless shot a plasma blast in front of the twins.

"Hey! Your dragon almost shot us!" Tuffnut yelled.

"I know, I told him too." Hiccup said as Toothless laughed.

"Not cool, T." Tuffnut continue as Toothless rolled his eyes.

"Guys what we're you thinking?" Hiccup asked.

"Nothing. We just having fun." Tuffnut said.

"Yeah, almost getting crushed to death by snow is fun."

"Not if you make it fun." Ruffnut said as she wiggled her eyebrows.

"What are you saying Ruff?" Hiccup asked.
