Chapter 60: Take Back Dragon's Edge *Part 3*

•Third Pov•

The gang were hovering above, right below of the ships. Stoick did not let Hiccup take back his island alone, so they made a plan. Stoick came in as a distraction as the rest of the ships go all over the island and fought. Hiccup thought it was prefect plan, and the gang would help above.

Fishlegs stayed close to Heather, making sure that she wouldn't do nothing dangerous on the battle field. Astrid stayed close by Hiccup side, showing that she'll be in his side no matter what. The twins, well, they stayed closed to Snotloud. They plan to annoy him for the rest of the day.

Stoick kept an look out, he signal the others to do the same. He sigh as he look up, seeing Toothless. He tightened his grip on his axe, as he spotted the island.

"Get ready! Keep an eye out, don't get distracted. Our lives depends on it." Stoick said as everyone looked everywhere.

At water, on the sky. As they got closer the shore, some of the men has gotten their crossbow armed and ready.

Viggo in the other hand, was waiting for them. Actually, he waiting for quite some time. He knew Hiccup would never give up his island, also knew that he would fight for it. Ryker came running, as he looked at his brother.

"I spot them, they have a few dozen of ships. We might hold them off. I send the signal to the men?" Ryker asked as Viggo shook his head.

"No. That would be rude to surprise our guests like that. Let them land and make themselves home." Viggo said as Ryker looked at him confused.

"Uh...okay." Ryker said as he walked away.

Viggo smirked as he saw the ships landed. As all the men came out, with weapons. Viggo gave a signal to some arrow men, as the arrow men left into the shadows.

Stoick and his men where walking, looking everywhere. It's like a million of eyes where looking at every single thing. From the leave getting blown way to that ant walking. Viggo' archers where hiding in the trees, aiming at the soldiers.

Hiccup and the gang where flying above, looking for any movement. With StormFly and Toothless good eye sight, Toothless spotted someone walking. He roared, getting Hiccup's attention.

"What is it bud?" Hiccup ask as Toothless dived down unexpectedly.

Toothless let his arms out, grabbing one of the archers men. As Toothless flew back to the gang, the archer was yelling. Astrid took out her axe, aiming at the archer neck.

"Who are you." Astrid said sternly.

"I ain't tell you kids nothing." The archer replied.

Hiccup and Astrid looked at each other, smirking.

"Alright then, Toothless, let go." Hiccup said as Toothless did as he was told.

The archer yelled as he looked at the gang.

"I WILL DO ANYTHING! I'LL EVEN TELL WHAT VIGGO IS PLANNING!" The archer yelled as Hiccup nodded to Toothless.

Toothless dived as he got the archer and flew back up. Astrid lifted her axe and pointed to the archer neck.

"Okay, now spill it." Astrid said as the archer nodded.

The archer told everything, as Hiccup was looking at the distance. After the archer was done, they tied him up and threw him a pit.

"That's should keep him quiet for a while." Snotloud said as the archer gave him a glare.

"You staring at me doesn't do anything!" Snotloud yelled as the archer rolled his eyes.

"Come on gang, let tell my dad the plan." Hiccup said as they flew towards to Stoick group.

As they got to Stoick, they already fighting with Viggo men.

"What in the Thor." Heather said.

"We just leave them for a few minutes and this happens!? I knew we should've stayed." Tuffnut said as Snotloud face palmed.

"Why are we standing here?! Let's help them!" Astrid said as she dove down.

The gang looked at each other then joined Astrid. Toothless grabbed a few men and threw them in another direction. StormFly and Heather did a few spine shots, hitting the men in their arms or legs.

Hookfang slap his tail at the men, making them go unconscious. Meatlug did spits fire, making them run for their lives. Stoick fought all the men with his trusty axe.

One of the hidden archer aimed at Astrid, who is fighting of men from killing her. The archer aimed at her head, until Stormfly came out of nowhere and pushed him. The archer shot the arrow and missed Astrid's head but landed on her right leg.

Not again, She thought. She groaned in pain, as she kneeled down to take the arrow out of her leg. The man used his chance and lifted his sword, as he was bout the strike, Heather came and pushed him. She looked at Astrid with concern in her eyes.

She looked at her leg and sighs. Not again, Heather thought.

"Astrid... why can't you be careful?" Heather asked as Astrid chuckled.

"Well... it isn't fun unless you get a scar out of it." She said as Heather rolled her eyes.

"But this isn't a scar... the arrow is in you! Like in your skin, Astrid!" Heather yelled.

"It doesn't matter. Besides I'm fine." Astrid smiled as she stood up. As she took a step, she groaned as the pain strike her.

She kneeled down as clenched her fists.

"Your not fine, we need to find Hiccup. Maybe he has an emergency kit or-"

"No! Don't tell Hiccup. Please. He'll starts to worry." Astrid said as Heather shook her head.

"No way. Your injured and your not fine. Come on, stop refusing and let's find Hiccup." Heather said as Astrid opened her mouth, but nothing came out.

Heather called Windshear as StormFly came and looked at Astrid.

"Hey girl." StormFly looked at Astrid's leg then at her. "I'm fine. I don't know why Heather doesn't understand that."

Windshear came, as Heather went towards Astrid.

"Come, let's find Hiccup." Heather said as Astrid slowly nodded.

StormFly grabbed Astrid by her collar and carefully placed her on her back. Windshear flew up as StormFly flew behind her.
