Chapter 56: Astrid's Parents

Hiccup and Astrid were on their little island of there's. Relaxing on the edge of the cliff, watching their dragons playing at the pond. Since the twins are pulling pranks again, and Snotloud complaining about the cold. The couple decided to take a little break. It's a bit warmer then at Dragon's Edge, so they just brought a blanket to cover themselves.

Hiccup's hand intertwined with Astrid's while they enjoyed each other company. Astrid lay on Hiccup's lap as Hiccup stroke her hair. Astrid smiled as she felt Hiccup's hand gently and softy stroking her hair. They were enjoying the quite until a Terrible Terror came and landed on Astrid's face. Astrid grabbed the dragon and about to squeeze it to death when she saw a letter on the dragon's leg.

She grabbed the note and read it while Hiccup got curious.

"What does it say?" Hiccup asked as Astrid handed him the letter.

He took it as he read the letter.

Dear Astrid,

It's your Mother, and it's been long since you visit. Also, I have heard some rumor that you have a boyfriend. I know I heard the rumor from a long time but I'm just wanted to know you do. And if you do, you have to come home so we can have a little talk young lady. I hope I see you there.

Hiccup put the letter down and look at Astrid.

"Oooo, I could imagine what little talk your gonna have when you get there." Hiccup said as Astrid groans and lay on Hiccup's lap again.

"I know! Sometimes I hated my parents when they do that."  Astrid replied as Hiccup chuckled.

"I get way more worse then this."

"Really?"

"Yup, my Dad makes me read all these letters from different clans, kingdoms. It's just stresses me out, cause all of them want a peace treaty. But they want something else then that. And it's really stressful."

"I could tell." Astrid said as she placed her hand on his shoulder.

Hiccup smiled as Astrid gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"So your going?" Hiccup asked as Astrid shrugs.

"Sure why not." Astrid replied as the two teens called their dragons.

They hopped on and flew towards Berk.

As they landed, Astrid gulped as she walked to the door.

"Um, you should stay here." Astrid said as Hiccup eyes widened.

"What!? Why!!" Hiccup exclaimed.

"Just stay here, later I'll call you to come in. You to Toothless." Astrid continues as she enter in the house.

Hiccup sigh as lean against on Toothless. Toothless grumbled as he sat down, making Hiccup fall.

"Hey!" Hiccup exclaimed as Toothless laughs.

"Yeah, yeah, keep laughing. I'll get you back." Hiccup smirked.

As Hiccup and Toothless were waiting outside, Astrid in the other hand; was sitting down while talking with her mother.

"So, is it true you have a boyfriend?" Astrid's mother asked as Astrid gulped.

"Well, to be honest, yes. I do have a boyfriend." After Astrid say those words, he mother's eyes widened.
